Does anyone know if you can reduce the healing from Mark of the Faceless with ability’s like mortal strike and such?
I think you can, however, if people don’t run out immediately, even MS/Wound Poison/etc don’t matter, it’s just healing too much. But it can mitigate if you accidentally have it tick once.
Pro-Tip: disable the announce in DBM when somebody with mark is near you. That person should run out, you should stay. If you get the DBM warning, some people instinctively run, even though they shouldn’t.

You can yes, but as stated, positioning and reaction times matter more. Mortal Strike/Aimed Shot/Wound Poison just give you wiggle room, but execution is key.

I think it is worth having a rogue swap in a dagger or whatever and keep that 50% healing applied, because isn’t at least 1 tick of MotF going to go out because ppl are stacked in puddles for damage/mana costs?

We downed him last night. Took us awhile. Um, but we got him.
It took our healers (I’m one of them) a bit of practice on vapors to really maximize mana back w/o killing ourselves. Our main tank and RL did a great job at calling out specifically when to get those down right before hard hits on her,
Our range gang also needed quite a few tries to really get into the habit of moving properly.
(protip for healers - go for 6 stacks with personal CD)

You used vapors? We did normal mode and I purposely practiced not using any vapors to better learn mana management in prep for hard mode. I think I can be at half mana bar when the saronite mini boss pops.

We did. And we will for next couple of weeks for sure. We did discuss this though.
We first would like to get some gear. There are some HMs we are planning on trying next week, as well as in our 10 mans, but first we want to see full raid and down Egg yogg as much as we can. Also, yogg always drops a frag.
We only got 1 fragment. ONE!!! Yogg would have been 2nd.
We are not in the rush to get all HMs down in the first couple of weeks. We got months. Like 5 months at least if I get to guess. We will get there.

Very nice. I am healing 10 man tonight we are trying for several HM. We did 2 elder Freya and it was pretty easy so HM Freya for sure. I am hoping Vez too.
Vez isn’t only healing though. DPS has to step up to the plate.
I am curious since the going idea is a more flash of light kind healing , but to that end is soul preserver still the best option for this fight or maybe something else, just brain storming? I know Soul of the Dead doesn’t work, unfortunately.
