Can we get gems halved for badges? Things are getting out of hand on Faerlina and I don’t see it getting much better.
Edit: Honor conversion is 10x better then badges. One Wintergrasp win with quest can net you well over 20k honor, or the equivalent of 20 badges. Doesn’t seem to fair to have a way to earn 20 badges worth of honor in 15mins.
How did this happen? If you even raid logged, you would have more than you needed. Is there that many ppl with alts they didn’t play wanting gems?
Well what exactly are the going prices for gems on Faerlina?
I have a Transmutation Master alch. ~2300g a week for 7 mouse clicks is pretty comfy. I’m surprised gem prices haven’t tanked even after being offered for badges and honor, but I’m not complaining
You can buy epic gems from pvp jewel crafting vendor for 20k honor each or 10k each for orange, green, or purple ones. Just gotta have formula to craft gem or find a jewel crafter to do it for you.
pvp for 3 hrs for 1 gem
The weekly wintergrasp quests and 1 WG Victory gives you enough honor for 1 gem a week and some gold to help buy another.
What does this mean?
A couple of my guildies liquidated all of their badges and sold the gems on patch day expecting gem prices to tank. So now they have no badges and sold their gems for half of what they are worth now.
As the patch goes on and people dont need badges anymore, and upgrades are less and less common, I think the gem prices will creep back down.
Cut gems on my server are only like 250g. You should be able to get 2 a day just from dailies.
Coiners buy gold and then over pay for everything.
I already spent probably 700 badges on gems.
When you care about your gear having the best quality you’ll upgrade at least a few gems a week during the first half of a tier.
Hurts more when you can play more than one spec of your class as well.
250-320g for most cuts.
If only I needed just one gem ever.
You won’t know what to do with badges in a couple weeks. It’s not gonna be too bad by then to get them.
I could still use like 50 gems across my toons.
Are you switching gems on a daily basis xd or gemming good gems for gear under 245?
So again, if you care about your characters you’ll gem them with the best.
Day 1 of ToGC I gemmed all my Ulduar gear. That took alot of gems.
Now I have upgrades. A lot of upgrades.
That’s a pretty normal price? These are epic gems. You can buy uncut gems with emblems and honor and have a guild mate cut them for you too.
lol no this is entirely unnecessary except for your BiS Uld gear that will stay BiS until ICC.
Only parse chasers would regem every single slot day 1, and if you’re chasing parses on a serious level, you wouldn’t be complaining about gold.
Should have already had everything before P3.
You’re not playing at the level you’re trying to portray if you still need gems. you were not prepared
I’m meh, but had more than enough to regem every character on day 1 and still have enough left to sit comfortably.
Or those who cleared Heroic all first week.
