Gearing is terrible and unrewarding because of casuals

So you need 400 Ilvl gear to burn through a few trash mobs? You need gear that if used correctly makes you do about 20k dps, on trash mobs for a WQ?

Do people need Ferraris? No they donā€™t. My Paladin burns through them faster than I do on this toon with a lower ilvl.

When the story stops requiring raids to continue, then Iā€™ll probably care about your Ego getting deflated because your not 50+ item levels over a casual.

I ride really slowly over to the scrapper 1000 with mine and my horses heads hung super lowā€¦ sad music is usually playing in the background too!

Why would you even bring Ferraris into this? Thatā€™s not something classified as a necessity rather a luxury. Also yes you would burn through them faster because some specs work that way, Shadow has a ramp up that cant really be achieve in WQā€™s.

In what post was i asking to be 50 Ilvls over a casual. The fact that you think that is just telling.

Now now us casuals canā€™t take credit for everything wrong in the world. Iā€™m sure Blizzard helped too.

Yes blizzard is the ones at fault here, I even pointed that out in one of my posts. Iā€™m not blaming casuals for this.

Everything wrong with the game is Blizzard and the developers fault, donā€™t hate the players hate the gameā€¦

You think I should only have a little Toyota because all I do are casual things. You also have to think ahead to the next patch. The big boys and girls are going to have an easier time with the new zones than us pleb casuals.

The gear is fine as it is. This expansion has many issues but ilvl from casual content isnā€™t one of them. Legion was one of the best expansions ever, IMO and it was fairly similar in regards to level of gear dished out from WQs and invasions.

I did everything in Legion except for mythic progression and rated pvp. Iā€™ve not always been such a filthy casual but I never had any issues with players who had good gear from casual content.

I donā€™t view casuals as an issue. I consider myself very casual. I think blizzards inability to make content that is engaging and rewarding for both people who want to grind out more difficult content and those who want to play more relaxed is the issue.

I hate that mantra. I like to see everyone do well, and have a good life. Other peopleā€™s happiness does not negate my own, in fact it strengthens it.
Iā€™m just wired differently I guess, I donā€™t understand deriving enjoyment from other peopleā€™s misfortune.

And many disagree with that. And with BfA being where itā€™s atā€¦idk if Iā€™m inclined to agree with you

Well, azerite traits and AP aside, I meant more the ilvl.

Bro, yes if your not willing to work harder to achieve that level of luxury then yes you should have a little Toyota. That entire argument literally points out how broken this system is.

Should a dishwasher at McDonalds make 100k a month? No, for that level of work and experience. But someone who spent 10-15 years climbing there way up and gaining vast amount of experience should be making 100k a month, yeah they should.

Iā€™ve done the work for a modest BMW. The mythic folks and high M+ and gladiator pvp guys have the Ferraris. Next!

You donā€™t think your 416 ilevel was rewarding enough for your work? Well, it certainly DID work - they got you to do it, didnā€™t they?

The people you want to take gear away from, to punish them because they donā€™t play the game the way you do, donā€™t raid. So you shouldnā€™t be as threatened as you sound.

Given his name, I wouldnā€™t expect much out of him.

THATS THE POINT, you worked for it. It wasnā€™t handed to you on a silver platter.

Ilvl bloat is horrendous for the game. Itā€™s why systems like RIO exist. There is no progression so they created a means to weed out the cancer which only creates another obstacle to hurdle for people trying to enter content.

Ans with how many QQ threads we get about RIO Iā€™d say that ilvl bloat has certainly caused issues
