My Glyph of the Spectral Vulpine was deleted from my Ghost Wolf form when I used the gear upgrade. I wouldn’t have done the gear upgrade if I had known it was going to delete my glyphs…
Sounds like this might be a bug. It would be best to report this issue in the Bug Report forum. The Support Forum Agents won’t be in until the morning to provide any insight they may have.
Just to set the proper expectations, the CS team can only replace things they can verify and also for situations in which the dev team granted them permission to do so. Putting in a Bug Report puts the issue on QA’s radar.

I wonder if the glyph erasure was due to how the gear upgrade behaves similar to a level boost (which does state that glyphs will be erased).

But I do agree with Terise that submitting the bug report is the best way to alert Blizzard to the issue.

I’m showing right now they’re only about 140g on Thrall. If it’s outside of your means, I’ll be glad to coordinate with you to try and get your glyphs replaced. It’s an inconvenience thing, I understand. But it’s an easy enough fix, at least.

I believe so, yes. The Gear Upgrade welcome back gift uses the same technology of a level boost, so some of the limitations apply to it. I don’t know if there is a way update the system to not remove the glyphs, it isn’t something that is manually set like the 24 hour dungeon restriction.
Sorry for the lack of notification, Merorko. Hopefully, it won’t be too difficult to replace.

No worries, I replaced it immediately (before making this bug report/post). Just would have preferred to know ahead of time that it woulda been deleted.
