I don’t care about parsing, I don’t care about showing up to raids in full consumes or tossing up full consumes after every wipe, I don’t care about content I already farmed on Retail a million times, I don’t find Discord calls with 15+ sweaty nerds a night debating over DPS/Heal logs interesting and quite frankly I don’t even care about the raid content that much as most of it is not new for me.
Despite me not caring about these things in 2022, in 2019 when Classic first launched I was absolutely one of those people who would do every little thing to show up on good parses and I was saving world buffs, and consumes until it made me eventually get tired of the game and quit for 1 - 2 years.
Maybe it’s just a burn out thing, but the way I will play WoTLK is not joining a serious raid group and just finding a simple PvE class that does well and being in a casual chill guild while doing GDKPs for all the pieces of PvE gear I need.
No drama, no stress, no Loot Council, no Ego Andys, no parsing, I just want to give you gold for my raid piece as Blizzard intended.
I believe GDKPs are no longer a threat to this Community, rather I think it is what has saved us from going extinct.
