The primary function would be to eliminate RMT for gear. Something that matters much less to you, apparently, then buying some cheap botted consumes with 1% of your GDKP cut. Hmm, I wonder why RMT for gear is such a low priority to fix for you…hmm.
PS. They could handle the DKP → Gold rate of exchange to be dynamic. Like have an NPC broker who offers gold for DKP and it goes up whenever the sale is not taken by someone. This would find a “fair market price” for the DKP.
The main problem that would still be there for you? You can’t buy/sell gear for cash with this system.

You will NEVER stop people from RMTing for gear unless you implement retail personal loot, and thats not happening on era.
You guys are trying to throw the baby out with the bathwater to try and stop something that will never be stopped., people will find a way reguardless.
A majority of people in gdkps DONT rmt, but you guys just want to stop everyone else from doing gdkps it to make it harder for the few that do rmt.

Huh? I’m trying to offer a solution to give you exactly what you get out of GDKPs but to also make the RMT impossible. It’s literally the best improvement to a “GDKP” raid that a non-cheating player could ask for.
I agree you will never stop RMT entirely, but the system we have now is awful because cheaters roll up into a raid with other people who are not cheating and there’s no way to prove they RMT’d all their DKP. If you have to do something like pay the RL to HR something for you, then the situation is a lot more obvious.
Also, if you had an official DKP option, you would never unsuspectingly be in a raid that was going to have RMTers scoop some items.

There are a lot of GDKPs for Naxx at least where they charge you for the run and you get any gear that drops for you. So, you can either get very lucky or unlucky. lol
Personal loot just wouldn’t work in classic
The itemization isnt compatible with the way Personal loot interacts with the spec you’re playing in retail to give you gear you want
Paying $100 for a Naxx run isnt GDKP

Your whole post is a list of lies. When you want to tell the truth, i would gladly have a disucssion with you about gdkp. But i can already tell, you just want ppl to do exactly what you want, when you want and how you want. any other way and you will make up a list of lies and convince your self you that you are being truthful. Every person that runs gdkp is a goldbuyer? Do you realize how many people that instantly read that and now know that you are a liar and not worth being taken seriously?

Dont waste any time waiting. I have ran many GDKP. I have very rarely left the raid with more than i spent. And i have every piece of gold i made legit in game. mostly from crafting and selling on the AH. I have never bought a single penny. Yet you declared EVERY person that runs gdkp is a gold buyer. You are a liar and i am not intersted in discussing anything with a Liar. it would be pointless.

It is crazy how little Blizzard enforces their ToS
We live in an era of AI, and they can’t figure out how to stop a chad like you from RMTing gearing and calling it “gdkp”
This is exactly how i feel. I play the damn game and when you find out how much gold a person suspected of buying gold has, then you start to realize how wacked these ppl are. Someon has 10k gold. OMG he clearly is a cheater and buys gold. lmao. There is no way that they would believe i didn’t buy gold if they knew how much i had. Which is why it is a waste of time to discuss this with them They don’t play the game, they don’t want to play the game. They want to log in once a week and run a raid and then log off. And when they find out that if they do this, they won’t have much gold, they assume NOBODY has gold. They assume every player is broke.
We play the game and our efforts of that are recorded with the amount of gold that we have. Thats is why GDKP is the perfect loot system. it rewards players that actually play the game. They also know that NOBODY has to run a gdkp so it doesn’t even affect them at all. So for that they start up more lies saying it is impossible to get into a raid that isn’t gdkp and there are no more guilds. Why? Why do ppl just make dumb comments like this and expect anyone to take them seriously?
People cheating and buying gold happens with EVERY aspect of the game, buying mounts, paying for class training, buying pve items, buying mats,paying for pvp boosts, buying anything in game. But the ONE thing that they attach it to is GDKP. Why? Because they can’t stand that thier favorite loot system isnt shared by other ppl. Control freaks. plain and simple.
