You can literally confirm it by spending 10 minutes on any server and seeing the groups being ran or referencing the countless posts on the forums and subreddits that point out that gdkp is the predominantly used looting system, even in a lot of guilds.

I dont doubt there is a sever that has a large concentration of gold buyers, it makes sense that the mud and dirt sticks together. But you have to be delusional to think that its the most popular loot system in WoW lol. I dont even know why im entertaining this, since its not the first time you lied on this thread.
I’m not sure if its the #1 loot system currently but its damn near close. I mean, when blizzard say they are ok with GDKPs (Aggrend said this btw). There is no real deterrent or policing being done. Gold Buying is rampart and its one of the major reasons GDKPs are as popular as they are.
When they first came out it was rare to see any advertisement for them. Especially in trade chat.
There are a lot of people that despise them but there is no denying they are popular.
