GDKP (PayPal Looting) is a toxic gold buyers paradise

There is more than one kind of “buyer”

Not everyone spending gold buys it, especially when you make thousands of gold if you run gdkps regularly

I don’t buy drugs I just hang out with drug dealers and they give me stuff

So! Let’s walk it back a few steps and make some middle ground here

Mmmkay

Are willing to admit that a % of the GDKP raiding community spends real money to purchase gold specifically to use on GDKP bids?

Are you willing to admit that there are guilds which specifically seek these people out?

Your point being?

High end guilds have been selling gear to players since vanilla wow

At least in gdkp regular players not in on the hussle can get a cut from the illicit activity that will never not be a thing in any mmo ever

I agree, doubt a middle ground can be achieved, though.

I’mma go with “no” because it’s not “specific”, to use your own words, to GDKP. If you have the gold, I doubt its only purpose is JUST for GDKPs.

I’m sure there are cheating guilds that aren’t going to advertise their GDKP group.

Seems like GDKP groups are willing to take ANYBODY with gold…

I appreciate you existing XD

For real though, I think GDKPs should be treated similarly as in-gambling.

Truer words never spoken.

I can’t think straight? Tell me how being able to spend gold in a raid rolling is more incentive to buy gold than the ah house is. Don’t worry I’ll wait.

You cant buy BoP items on the AH.

It is the extreme halt of guild progress that I have the biggest.

BWL and above are locked behind a wall of pay to win.

There are regular BWL where people have spent $100 or more buying items.

It is a toxic culture that prevents content like Naxx being reached without buying massive amounts of gold.

I’m calling bs on a regular bwl run costing 100 bucks. Just stop with the lies and the extremes. Playing the one percent up to the majority or average occurrence…

U might call bs on the prices ppl r saying in here but if u ever bought gold once u r the problem. (Classic Era not other modes being Token)

come on Wow is fine as long as blizzard isn’t the one selling the gear/items on shop :stuck_out_tongue:
i’m mocking the fail people who claims that wow is not Pay to win style.

How would you know? You dont participate in them.

GDKPs are more guild like than any other pugging loot system out there.

A lot of you guys are making a lot of statements about GDKP that are blatantly false. The only thing youve gotten right is that RMT is associated with it but RMT is associated with everything that has to do with gold in this game.

And to be honest most of you anti gdkpers seem to just be bad players that are mad that good players wont carry you for free anymore.

Sure.

The $15 accessing the game and playing it, is totally “P2W”!

I still get free runs :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I’m just not in a hurry to get them done, like these other people.

high level of ignorance detected

ya ya when people can swipe their Credit card to buy
1-shop boosts “1per account claim?” rich people play on multi accounts and spent zero time on capping.
2-gear through gdkp (any rich pure buyer will eventually get everything he/she needs)
3-gems/enchants/max proff with gold bought through legal gold buying “tokens”
4-buying service/boosts for rating and more

literally this is pure P2w game in non-direct way, and because of that wow been a heaven for real money traders. you need to be so dumb to not realize such fact or you’re doing RMT so it’s expected from you to deny it

We still talking about these cringe GDKPs?

First of all… I watch streamers who join those gdkps and I have friends that run them. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to know the majority of them (scroll up I know not all are toxic) are shady and contributing to the toxic game play that promotes gold buying.

Second, I am not a raid logger nor do I want my character geared out in 3 weeks or a month. I could join the masses and swipe my credit card too. But, its not how I like to play the game. I’m online every day and have something to do. I dont play other games and I dont afk in town so that everyone can see my purps.

Third, thank you for assuming I am bad at the game. And GDKPs are free if you are willing to pay for them. /smh lol

Its crazy how some people cant grasp the concept that regardless of the type of loot system you run, many if not most of your raid lockouts are not going to net you new gear.
You can easily go multiple weeks/months raiding every week and not have the gear you’re looking for drop, or when it does drop, goes to somebody else for whatever reason (lost roll, loot council,ect.).
If you were running in gdkp groups for all these lockouts you would actually have profited thousands of gold, rather than lost hundreds of gold from consumables under other loot systems.
You aren’t going to be buying gear every run, just the same you wouldn’t be getting loot every run on a regular raiding schedule. You can earn gold in gdkp runs at an equal or greater rate than you will spend it

That’s a lot of words to describe gdkps being cringe :expressionless:
