GDKP Is Perfectly Fine

so how does banning gdkp and boosting solve the problem?

the problem is player generated gold and bot generated gold entering the game faster than can be removed.

gdkp and boosting are only trading already generated gold to other players.

you solve the inflation issue by stopping the generation of excess gold.

so what generates excess gold?

bots, mage aoeing, paladin aoeing, raiding, rogues pickpocketing, locks doing dm and mara runs, hunters doing dmt runs if they are vending the tribute chest instead of de’ing the items for enchanting mats, fishing up wreckages for lootboxes and lockboxes, any caster grinding saytrs for runes for raid, juju farming in winterspring or firewater farming in winterspring, rep farming in sil from them twilight cultists, grinding leather unless you destroy all the greys from the mobs, farming humans mobs for cloth, farming undead for cloth, doing dungeons like strath or scholo, ect ect ect

this are all the things i can think of off the top of my head that will generate raw gold that a player or bot can do. many of these are very popular among legit players and some moreso bots.

are you seeing the problem here?

you would need to change the interaction with these and many more systems in order to delay inflation in classic.

inflation is going to happen from just playing the game regularly because outside of mount at 40 and mount at 60 there are no major systems in game to delete major amounts of raw gold but there are more systems in game to generate raw gold.
