I loved making pizza the first time but it was a ton of work so I’m not as inclined to make it a second time and I’ll order it from a pizzeria instead.
If you want to drop the metaphor, yeah sure you can enjoy leveling 10 characters via non boosting and still boost. But you can also not enjoy leveling 10 characters via non boosting and boost and I feel like more people fall into this category.
Then don’t. Play one of the other 5 versions.
But plenty of people do, and that was the original purpose of Classic. We didn’t even know they would be going to TBC.

I feel like you have no clue what you’re talking about because you can’t comprehend that some people can enjoy leveling but still boost because if they leveled naturally then they wouldn’t hit 60 in time for the current phase since we have short phases.
I have already said yes to this twice now. Also, would you consider 2019/2020 classic short phases? People were boosting a lot back then too.
MC was out November 2004 and BWL released July 2005 in Vanilla.
In Classic MC was out August 2019 and BWL released early Feb 2020.
Vanilla was 8 months and Classic was 6 months.
So yes, objectively it was a shorter phase.
