With the consolidation of basically every realm into one, GDKP is going to absolutely explode with insane prices and payouts. CAN’T WAIT!

I wonder how AH prices will be, I assume they’ll either stay the same or become dirt cheap because of the supply increasing.

Probably the right choice but I’m sure that the prices will stabilize after a while, how long that’ll be though is a mystery.

Well, most loot distribution systems will likely see an increase in their use, as the overall population will likely be a lot larger on the destination realms (Grobbulus & Pagle).
I would imagine the reverse to be true of all the other realms though.
I’m morbidly curious to know just how badly the bot situation will be exacerbated. If all other realms empty out, no sense in the bots hanging out so they’ll transfer as well.

While not being on a PvP server so players wont be able to gank them either! I know myself and others have alliance alts on Faerlina and gank the bots running around!
It will be terrible because they can keep botting on the legacy servers and transfer over alts to the mega servers with all their botted items to AH.

I honestly didn’t even consider that. Makes things even worse for the destination realm I would think.
Just like when they did it in Retail with cross-server AH, everything crashed in price as the supply increased and the AH afficionados are now competing against each other.
But blizzard doesn’t care they love their bot/rmt partners!

Well they did say the goal was to make it so more groups run during the day which normally means pug group which I guess also means that more gdkps will happen. Seems reasonable. As for insane prices not sure that will happen as far as consumables go.
I’m more curious how long it will take for people to trickle down to pagle if they’re happy with their current server since people have been given the choice.
Sure, they have been given a choice. But the choice to start a new character on said realm is not one of them, thus when one person leaves they are gone forever and there is no replacing said person.

Which might hurt over time but we haven’t tried this with mega servers, so far that tactic has been used mostly on dead servers and worked imo because there was an obvious gain. With some servers being merged having over 10k raiders in a single faction it could last a while before there’s obvious population problem making it so people would want to leave.
At least on Grobb we can kill bots, including coordinating with the other faction to kill bots on our side. Good luck dealing with them on Pagel.

They have definitely stopped advertising this once it gained attention. Might pick up again when there’s alot of competition for gdkps
