I don’t think it’s actually bad if some dungeons are just straight up more difficult then others.

Within reason sure, but Kara is currently sitting at early King’s Rest levels of difficulty comparatively to other keys.

Historically some dungeons have always been harder than others, but the disparity usually isn’t so big as it is with Kara at the moment.

I remember when in BFA each dungeon was really bad in it’s own way, shrine had its thing, motherload had it’s giant mechs lol, and atal dazar had the golems that spewed grean everywhere…

And Waycrest Manor had the crazy ladies with the interupt and the movement which hurt so bad to heal.

The rest are unremarkable and I don’t remember a thing about them. It’s cool that I remember shrine, motherload, and atal ))) visual memories of wiping to all that and people just being like ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I only got to play KR after it was nerfed into oblivion I guess I remember the spinny boss dude with like the totems he wasn’t that bad tho. I dont’ have muscle memory for that fight though like I do the rest lol.

Shrine I remember had a few things that were really dangerous, think a few specific trash mobs, and the double boss were relentless.

But I may be misremembering, been a hot minute

The rune carvers on anything over a 14 with newbs who didnt’ know the mech was always a lol, especially tanks who wouldnt move the guy out of the rune

Can’t wait till that makes a come back (and isn’t nerfed!!! let’s respect historical content!)

Lets all realize our gear level is nowhere near what it will be/should be. You guys will be doing these keys faceroll now more than ever once your geared. Also remember this was TYRANICAL week. Most of these nerfs are gonna be completely overboard.

Lower Kara: 2 chested a 17 week one

  1. I think removing throw coin outright is dumb. Now all those mobs can do is an interruptible pennies from heaven.
  2. The poison nerf to Toe Knees adds I think was welcome.
  3. The dinner party guest buff nerf I think is stupid as hell. Now there is no reason to CC all of them, can just cc 2 of them and laugh.

Upper Kara: Chested an 18 week one

  1. Think the nerf to flame wreath was not needed.

Grimrail Depot: Chested a 19 week one

  1. The nerf to the initial breath I dont think was needed. This was a tyranical week/gear check.
  2. Other nerfs not needed.

Irondocks: Chested 17 week one.

  1. Think the nerf to the Cat and damage needed was warranted
  2. Other nerfs not needed.

Again a lot of these mechanics came down to Tyranical week/Gear check. This stuff will be completely faceroll wayyyyy too quickly. This will probably be the fastest M+ league I’ve ever played.

Edit: I also find it funny they are not doing anything about Junkyards silly OP timer and/or shock bots. What a meme of a key to push

I think a lot of the nerfs above poster is mentioning are already posted on blizz tracker

Another good solution would be to scale differently in different brackets

1-10 not much scaling 1-20 more scaling 20+ one shots

Although I would prefer a tighter level spread 1-5 because number bloat.

I just did a 15 Kara last night and people were getting hit by the waves with out dying. I think Blizzard already nerfed it quite a bit. It was a 1 shot earlier. There’s a few mechanics in both Karas that hit a bit hard and kill people, nothing gear can’t solve, but it’s still way more tuned up than other dungeons. Running 21+ Mecha and Taza dungeons shouldn’t feel easier than a much lower Kara strictly off tuning.

Imagine if mobs dropped food items that looked otherwise normal and even stacked with your normal food and if you ate it you got one shot LOL

I also remember it being a bit more survivable in legion. Like vaguely because I was a massive zero addon no hotkey noob back then.

Yeah it definitely was. I used to run it for my leggo crafter, and I almost always healed it. Tanked upper a few times I think. But yeah, it wasn’t nearly so hard hitting back then. Like the 5 key I ran this past week on lower (or whatever key it was, idek or care atm lol), we were getting rekt on stuff that made no sense at all.

Love how everyone who says the dungeons are perfectly fine doesn’t play a healer. Spamming CDs like no tomorrow doing 20k HPS because of insane ticking damage.

“It’s fine we 2 chested it”.

As your healer is OOM af, and if the fight lasted 20 seconds longer you’d have all been dead.

Then conversely you can walk into a streets 5 key levels higher and the healer just does damage.

But yeah, it’s fine. Perfectly in line with the others.

I did once on a mega trash pull straight to trogg boss in junkyard, that was like 3 minutes of just straight pressing healing buttons tho I can run OOM in like 1:30 on a boss in Kara haha

I can’t imagine trying to do a higher key on discipline any disc priests actually beat Kara ?? got to check subcreation if its updated

yep there are four LOWR 19 disc priest keys ) C-tier spec sadly

The only thing that healers should run OOM on in the Karas would probably be…

1: Garote debuff in moroes. (Lower Kara)
2: Possibly Medhiv if you stay in the guardian phase WAYYY too long. (Upper Kara)
