I chose blood elf for my Horde hunter, but if you’re looking for racials orc is the way to go.
You can choose any race you desire to go with your fantasy just for fun or choose for meta reasons. Everyone has their own way of having fun.

word, so out of mage, Spreist, rogue, monk, and BM hunter…the general concensus is that BM hunter does the most satisfying single target burst dps? (maybe excluding rogue, because you know…rogue lol)

For PvP, go cat. Having an on demand Herosim is a great thing. Use explosive trap; it’s more fun than you’d imagine to send people flying off bridges and flags (especially in Eye of The Whatsamahoozit). Get as much Haste as you can manage.
Your main rotation will be Serpent Sting for focus regen, Barbed Shot to reduce the CD on Bestial Wrath, Bestial Wrath to make your kitty big and red. Kill Command is fun because kitty will like to take big bites.
I also recommend Barrage for big aoe, especially in narrow confines, and keep silence shot handy for pesky casters.
Oh. And the most important BM hunter PvP advice of all: Eat your bear sandwiches. They’re extra tasty if the bear lies and says it’s a druid. That’s exactly what a bear would say to not get eaten so you know it’s a real bear.
Hide your bear hunter pets, bear battle pets and bear mounts.
