One moment Dear, she gave me a note with specific instructions in case of a scenario like this.
reaches into belt pouch, pulls out, some carrot cake crumbs, and promptly eats them. A nearly empty bottle of Inferno Punch, which swiftly becomes an empty bottle. A can of whipped cream, a solar powered flashlight, a three week old Dorito, that has developed a life of its ownā¦ many, many things later gets to a wrinkled, and stained piece of parchment.

Sometimes the right words are hard to find to express the storms we face.
We will face many storms but some will leave us broken.
Itās ok to be broken and to fall down to question the meaning of it all.
This too will pass. It doesnāt feel like it when you are in it but I promise that it will. One day the pain will subside and you will feel whole again. You will be complete. Another person cannot do that for you. The trick is to keep breathing and to reach out to those that care about you until you get there.

Oh yes, those apple fritters the size of dinner plates and a cup of coffee. There is no better way to start a day. Well, maybe pancakes. Or waffles. Mmmmā¦ so many wonderful ways to start the day. Retirement makes this even better as now I have breakfast with my wife every morning instead of leaving her soundly sleeping.
