i’ve got the temperature inside down to about 21 (70)
kitty isn’t doing so well… i think i freaked him out when i went out for a few hours on christmas day.
he went on a hunger strike, then started pulling his fur out again, and hiding, and when not hiding he’s RIGHT UNDER MY FEET trying to trip me over.
he’s calmed down a bit now, ate a little, and is sleeping under a table in the bedroom.
i keep taking him water, he has a drink then goes back to sleep.
he HAD to decide to do this while i wasn’t able to call the vet for advice.
i’ve got no need to go out for a week or so, i planned ahead for the heat.
freezer full of icypoles, fridge full of drinks, nibbly type food so i don’t have to slave over a hot stove (left over ham… cheese, eggs, crackers, nuts, sultanas etc)
i’ll just keep an eye on him, make sure he’s eating “enough”.
i need to keep in mind that he’d been WAY over-eating when he came to me.
tomorrow i’ll measure how much food he eats.
if he keeps going downhill, i want to be able to report specifics when i contact the vet
it’s probably a good thing. (that it’s happening, not that i forgot about it)
i should sleep while it’s cooler(ish)
it’s 2am, and still 28 (82F)
gonna be a hot one again tomorrow.
i have aircon in the bedroom if it gets too overwhelming.
it was one of the first modifications i did when i moved in!
kitteh is sleeping soundly under the bed.
took him some fresh water, and he did have a little bit to eat earlier, thankfully.
he’s such a worry!
i love him too much, he’s my booful boi.
i just want him to be healthy and happy.
Getting ready for another hot day today.
Got the lawns mowed by 9:30, gonna do coffee and pills… then nice long shower with hair-wash.
Then veg in front of the aircon, and decide if i need to farm transmog, do legacy achieves, or plonk around in current content.
So many choices!
i myself am obese. been for a long time now. used to weigh like 300 now i am down to like 260 or something which is better obviously since it wasn’t muscle mostly obviously since i’m lazy bum chrisp.
I forgot context. I was born very early so I was basically a runt for most of my life. I’m talking size zero pants and having to go to the juniors clothes section when I was WAY older than that.
My metabolism obviously slowed down in my late 20s. Being made fun of all the time for how skinny I was, I really don’t mind the little tummy I have now lol.
Can any of you imagine a Spy whose cover story is him being a Garbage-Eating Elementary School Bully held back all the way into adulthood with anyone questioning the story or why he doesn’t attend any classes getting a fist to the face?
To the School this guy despite his cover story is clearly a Homeless Vagrant harassing the Elementary School Students in School Halls that the Police refuse to evict for some trumped up reason(I.E. ordered not to by the Military who threatens to put them in front of a firing squad).
If you are wondering what inspired this line of thought:
Western Jock Bullies and the Main Characters of ViVid Strike!(one of which is a Bully) the sequel to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid as well as the concept of Magical Family Lyrical Wolken(basically a Fake Trailer’s Mystery Solvers version of Lyrical Nanoha with the TSAB excised) caused me to imagine the two Main Girl Characters from ViVid Strike running afoul of a Western Style Bully who wipes the Lockers bloody with their faces just for getting in his way.
Said Bully being a Spy for the Military in my idea for a potential real Lyrical Wolken Anime was inspired by the Mystery Solvers’ nature of Lyrical Wolken, the General from the unrelated Webcomic Sluggy Freelance as well as the reality of the Military being likely to hire the Yagami, Takamachi, Testarossa & Tsukimura Families due to their Powers and have a Spy keep an eye on them at School.
Can you imagine the Spy having his Child Bully Henchmen bring in a trash with ViVid Strike Antagonist(who would be Homeless in my idea for Lyrical Wolken) in it can so that he can step on the Trash Can’s Foot Pedal, steal the Homeless Person’s food and punch said Homeless Person when she objects?
The Girl Antagonist from ViVid Strike!(who along with the Protagonist started off as Homeless) had to deal with Female Bullies who were slighted that she refused to join their Fight Club but what if she had her revenge attempt against them stopped dead in it’s tracks due to a Western Style Bully grabbing her by the back of her head before she could do anything and wiping the Lockers bloody with her for simply getting in his way followed by him doing the same to the Fight Club when they try to thank him thus showing that their Club’s title is just hype that the Bully was afraid of for no reason.
The Western Style Bully due to buying the hype of the Fight Club’s name would have lots of pent up rage towards them but once he realizes that he is the most dangerous person in the school relishes in the idea of smashing the Fight Club’s faces in and wiping the Lockers bloody with said faces right after doing the same to their victim.
Such would be an interesting concept for Lyrical Wolken… A Gundam-esque Magical Girl Anime made into a Mystery Solvers TV Show with the US Military led by a Drill Sergeant-esque Military General while the School has an amoral pompous loudmouth Principal(liable to get the Principal of Nanoha’s Private School killed just so that his successor can shut said Private School down forcing the students to attend his Public School) would be an interesting concept to say the least.
