Joseph Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If” is a classic along this line. While his unabashed pro Imperialism views have tarnished his reputation, the poem has a lot to it.

i need to finish getting this tiger dot-painting ready for frame.
…and i want to make a “kicker” for kitty, so that means dragging out the sewing machine (but i have to clean the bench in craft room so i can put sewing machine somewhere, and then i have to find a few feet of space to put the ironing board up)
i think this means… JUST CLEAN THE CRAFT ROOM INSTEAD OF GAMING!!

On the plus side, if we find a giant bottle of wine, we’ll be so happy we have a grumpy corkscrew mount with us. Otherwise, I see no use for it other than wannabe manly men who can’t see themselves on a beautiful classic unicorn. Or giant bottles of wine.
