that “bunny” in the front…
my mother made me an irl “easter bonnet” like that for the primary school easter hat parade.
(but it had a few little fake flowers added)
those poor creatures do not look impressed.
“That one in front looks down right pissed off.”
“I Know where you sleep, Hooman.”
/lol
and the one behind it, is looking for guidance.
“we kill hooman now, or after dinner?”
“I saw it as… ‘Uh Oh!! You done upset the Alpha Cat. Do I hide now?’ …they look like they want to run.”
/giggle
i feel like it’s pretty cruel… they have very sensitive ears, and they’re totally squished.
we’re an awful species that we put animals in clothes for entertainment
…anyhoo, i’m going to go do some gaming.
i’ve had no internet for over 24 hours.
i think the landscapers next door broke something.
the repair dude just left… took him a couple of hours to find the fault, but it’s done now.
i had to watch regular tv last night.
i think i lost brain cells.
“I have a wall of Movies, particularly to avoid that type of situation.”
/lol
i have a bunch of movies… i just pick them up and go “meh” and put them back.
i’m not really a movie person.
i prefer documentaries.
i can also tolerate game shows which involve using the brain… i like to yell stuff at the tv
Cancelled my subscription until July.
Just taking a little break to play some other stuff for awhile.
This runs out at the beginning of February.
trying to re-arrange the crafting room, along with doing a full assessment of all the bits and parts I’ve got.
got distracted and painted a doll-house dining table and chairs with a toadstool pattern.
tomorrow i’ll give them a clear-coat, and drill holes to put spikes in them so the birds don’t knock them over.
You are always welcome to be a forum lurker, sometimes the forums are more entertaining then playing the game itself.
Have a nice break and see you than!
/hug
I would love to have a mount like this btw’s Blizzard.
gamed all night.
didn’t finish my toadstool furniture yet.
no rush… at least i’ll know the paint coats are well and truly dry!
(i’ll have to grab a progress photo, it’s funny/cute/silly)
when i was a kid, i used to love to walk past the “gnome house”, which had a massive fairy garden… with gnomes getting up to all sorts of things.
i want my garden to be like that!
lots of people walk past my garden with their grandkids, i want to be the house they all get excited about!
gonna sprinkle a little bit of magic around
in other news, i won the meat raffle tonight… TWICE!!
a tray of lamb cutlets, and a big pack of sausages, plus veggies.
ta-da
i tried to make some big dots on the table which looked like place-mats and coasters, not sure if it worked.
a few coats of gloss sealer should bring them up nicely
might go digging in my fake plants and see if i can find some greenery to weave around the chairs. not sure yet.
“I LOVE THEM!!! And yes, I can tell they are coasters and mats.”
/grin
“Did you get the Purple Mushroom done yet?”
/smile
thanks
no, it’s been a bit too hot.
i’m worried that it if the concrete dries too quickly, it will crack
but i did check that i have the extra spike to make it.
once they’re cast, i usually give them a few weeks to cure really well before painting
i might make a few extra and start making a bunch of stuff to sell at the next craft market they have here.
kitty is costing me a fortune, i need some original ideas of stuff to sell.
the toadstools cost next to nothing, and i could probably sell them for a few bucks each (i always undervalue my crafts, but i feel mean asking people to pay for stuff, when i know how little it cost to make!)
i suppose the time spent working is where the cost comes in.
my current ones have been in the garden for a few weeks, and have managed to cope with the sun so far… i’ll have to wait and see how the paint copes with the rain.
i don’t want to sell stuff if it’s going to fall apart!
“I was taught to charge the price of materials, and at least 5 for every hour of time it took to make it.”
i have an absolute mountain of polymer clay
i used to make a lot of miniature food n stuff (can’t remember if i posted any here, i probably did, i’m a show off)
i really enjoyed making tiny cakes
i should find out if there’s a market for them.
they’re fun and easy, and i can pump them out quickly
“Actually, there is.”
this is some of the early stuff i made… i was teaching myself by a combination of trial and error, and watching youtube videos.
now that i look back on it, they were actually pretty good… but i’m so critical of my own creations, that i could only see faults.
“Yes, you could sell those. There is a big market for hand made miniatures.”
“There is even a competition, called Best Of Miniatures.”
