Yeah, the steak options are more expensive
I just checked on the burrito in the fridge and looks like it has guacamole too (a $3 addon)
Anyways, not my problem that someone screwed up, looks like I won’t have to buy lunch today either
Being both a panda and a warrior helps immensely with fall damage, though. You are one of the fortunate ones.
“Rogues get Feather Fall, as well.”
Just realized the possibility that Featherine wasn’t simply wanting to find out who beat Sayo Yasuda to the crime but was secretly trying to torture Rika.
Erika Furude was sent to oblivion willingly by Bernkastel when she was unable to rationalize her statement of “Hi, pleased to meet you! I am Furudo Erika, the detective! I may be an uninvited guest, but please, welcome me!! I am the visitor, the 18th human on Rokkenjima!!” seemingly contradicting “Even if you do join us-”
“There are 17 people.”
We all forget something: Furniture may be Human but it isn’t considered People.
Sayo Yasuda is not counted among the 17 People since she due to her biology couldn’t be considered a Person to her mind but Furniture.
Now what does that mean? Rika Furude washed on the shore of Rokkenjima after falling off a ship(that she was sailing on although since she was apparently wearing a life jacket she probably jumped off in a panic) and had her face ruthlessly smashed till she died at the hands of Sayo Yasuda who needed a fake corpse to take her place as Shannon.
Why was Rika on a ship and wearing swimming clothes with a Life Jacket? Because Featherine was going all Oyashiro-Sama and chasing Rika!
See why Bernkastel ran away when it seemed clear that Erika was going to lose and fall into oblivion? The last thing she wanted was to be reminded of her own death by Beatrice whom she wanted revenge on for ending the life she fought so hard for.
Now if Featherine were to get enough info I.E read the Book of One Truth to realize that Rika’s fate was not mentioned in it she would have mentioned it to Bernkastel who would have started squirming when Featherine takes over as Game Master and plays a Final Game that depicts Rika’s fate.
Of course Battler in the game stopped Bernkastel from winning her game by attacking her providing Featherine with the entertainment she enjoyed by beating Rika up.
Bernkastel/Rika was oblivious to Featherine’s true goal: not to find out who the murderers were but to torture Rika for entertainment!
Featherine latter targeted Ange due to Erika latching on to her. The Last Note of the Golden Witch depicts Sayo Yasuda’s final story that she wrote and it was most certainly provided for her by Featherine herself who had every intent of torturing Ange in order to get at even a constructed copy of Rika!
The Last Note of the Golden Witch will not be the final Umineko Story. Ange is outright stated in the Story to become an Author so she will write the final Umineko story that details Rika’s fate.
As for what will initiate the story? Featherine will initiate it since her plan with Ange and Erika failed so she will have no choice but to go straight to becoming a Game Master of Rika’s Story though using Erika as a substitute since Rika/Bernkastel was likely in hiding.
Rika will eventually notice that Featherine is using Erika as a substitute for her. Battler noted in the Manga that she had remorse over condemning Erika to oblivion and that her pride kept her from admitting it. She’d rush in and claim in Red that Rika Furude was the one who washed on Rokkenjima Island to get Erika out of the situation causing a Non-Looper Rika Playing Piece to appear and then faced with her being subject to Looper Rika’s own fate immediately admit to being the one to arrive on the island being turned into the Playing Piece while Non-Looper Rika becomes a separate personality.
And then Featherine will get her horn broken for pushing either Ange or Rika too far releasing Hanyuu from her control.
Erika, Rika, Hanyuu and Lambdadelta will latch onto Ange until the events of Ciconia upon which they are revived in artificial Bodies with Rika being mistaken for the consciousness of Miyao Mitake(Toujirou Mitake’s Son) and Lambdadelta(despite keeping her appearance and fashion sense) deliberately impersonating Vier Dreissig(Toujirou Mitake’s Wife).
Since Miyao Mitake’s consciousness was meant to enter Rika’s Body he appears to her in Ciconia along with the mind of Non-Looper Rika(who has more access to Rika’s Body despite being forced to wear a wig resembling Miyao’s Hair).
used to love the sub rogue daggers in legion always giving us that featherfall was so cool
“I never played sub.”
It’s wild cause I’m usually so bad at it
It’s the sneaky theme I guess I’m drawn to .
Always felt outlaw had better dps and aoe so I’ve switched to that for a couple ocassions
“I have been Outlaw for as long as it has been implemented. Before that I was Combat.”
I went outlaw to clear those proving grounds way back. Was finding as sub if I just messed up one second it was a bust - outlaw was much more forgiving.
I want to say I went it again for the dark iron opening quest line too
“In the proving grounds, my problem was I knew HOW to do it, but my Arthritis wouldn’t let me move fast enough to get it done. So I TAUGHT Mr. H. HOW to do it, and HE went in on Cyndi and got it done for me, with his fast, skillful, reflexes.”
/grin
ooo nice
Mr H is a priceless gem
You know how thickheaded I can be - must have failed proving grounds dozens of times before i finally figured “hey, let me try it as another spec”
“At least you were able to get it done yourself. I envy that side of you.”
I know some folks liked that feature
but I’ll be pleased if bliz never implements another
“I will be pleased too.”
It’s one of many wow things that probably looked nice in planning.
Many more positive things to remember from back then though
got the two hander up to a nice skill level
“Well done.”
this weekend we ding lvl 30
