I hear you. I’m digging deep back into the TTG thing, including Warcry, a game called Malifaux which looks wicked cool, and I’m going to try to pre-order a copy of Killzone on Saturday.
And I have to re-do my Ghost Ogres since I have a really nifty, updated concept for them. Plus I want really brutal ranged Ogors for Warcry 
I am BM spec so I don’t have silence shot.
Also the tank wasn’t taunting in the run.
I actually tried to ask for them to work with me on traps. change up on their first avengers shield target. Make it so I trap melee mobs. Anything. They just got angry at me. It was a full guild run outside of the tank.
Well, he sucks as a tank then. Hell, I remember being a prot pally and having to use Linken’s Boomerang for ranged pulling.
Dude sounds like a total jerkweed and y’all are a lot better off without them.
Remember, bad tanks aren’t a you thing. It’s a moron thing.
I always liked the concept of table top games
Buuuut, I live out in the middle of nowhere basically, so there is exactly 0 community around here, and kinda defeats the purpose of them trying to play it solo lol
Really all I ask is people work with me instead of the “I am the tank and you listen to me” mentality.
I hear that. Depending on where you’re at, check around some local-ish hobby stores. Those are a great start if you don’t have something like a Games Workshop store near you.
Also check online for local groups. Even in my neck of the woods, there are several groups flourishing and growing.
I hear that. Sadly, I think that’s an attitude that’s carried over from modern retail. Or maybe I was just incredibly lucky.
Back in OG TBC, even as DPS, I never had a truly bad tank who wouldn’t cooperate at some point.
Hell, I was friends with a bleeding edge tank for years because I could walk trap bettet than anyone AND I saved his butt in hero Arcatraz trashpull gone bad with a clutch Heavy Netherweave Bandage Heal!
Cleaave was a cool dude.
But yeah, that kind of attitude is sadly what most people associate with leadership these days.
I wouldn’t sweat it though. Don’t let one bad tank spoil the whole enchilada for you 
In fact, any GOOD tank would be marking and asking you to walk trap, interrupt, etc. Trust me on that.
I stay with my guild because they have people who recognize that roles are well roles. I am a hunter. A druid tank is a druid tank. And a druid tank is different then a pally tank. So on and so forth.
They are the only people so far that actually have me misdirect, use frost traps and some other hunter stuff.
And THAT, my friend is not how one plays hunter nor is it the true HUNTER WAY!
How to Hunter:
1: Yell pewpewpewpewpew whenever you do or do not use a spell.
2; Keep your tanks on their toes and up their skill level by keeping your pet’s growl on.
3: It’s the healer’s fault, not yours. Your feet were cold. That’s why you stood in the fire. Maybe the healer should’ve asked first and brought some warm socks along. Jerk.

If it’s any consolation, I got kicked out of an LFR run for using the following macro only ONCE

He wanted me to trap mobs that I couldn’t pull into the traps or if I tried to LoS he would move onto the area I had my trap and aoe there and break it.
Back in Wrath I was playing a DK and the tank kept on wiping us in the Old Kingdom dungeon and we got to the point we were all ready to leave so I told everyone I was going to pull an extra faceless one onto the tank and as soon as I do everyone leave group .
You know how you fix that problem? Get with your guild privately and explain you need to teach this choade a lesson.
The way you do that is, with your guild’s permission, MD the other tank on a tank swap when it will cause a wipe. EVERY TIME.
But make sure you get your guild’s permisson first. See, we hunters have a bad reputation but not, necessarily because we’re bad. But because we have the exact tools to make everything go bad!
We were in voice chat during the dungeon. It was a guild run besides the tank and we were just trying to figure out how to survive as it was Heroic Shattered Halls.
I would’ve just asked your guild if it was cool to jack with the tank’s threat on each pull to teach the jerk a lesson.
But then again, not only am I a BM hunter, I’m also a Gnome!
