My DA site I enjoy working on growing, shrinking and transformation styled works. (And sub genres that fall under that)

I managed to find an audience for that.

i have a massive aversion to mint… i can’t even use mint toothpaste. :flushed:

i think it’s stuck to my clothes, and my shopping bags… i’ll isolate the bags, and throw my clothes in the washer.
i’ll finish my drink, then scrub my face and rinse the inside of my nose lol
i’m exhausted and just want to go nap, but the smell is driving me bonkers.

i found a new craft shop while i was out!
…i got lots of fun stuff, but i’ll have to wait until after nap to sift through it all.
(which is cool, because by then, i’ll have already forgotten about all the stuff i got, and it will be like christmas!)

kind of sucks that black ox statue has almost no purpose in pvp. a dead talent in pvp. for someone like me who is insane and doesn’t like ever changing talents on his characters that makes life hard.

Anyways I have been wanting to work on a story for a while now where someone transforms someone else into a dog for a discus coemption and it would be implied that this wouldn’t have been the first time.

Kind of a thing where the “Friend” is willing to win a coemption at any cost, even by getting a rather unusual canine.

I really enjoy working on these types of stories. It just sucks a bit as they are a bit more tabboo so I have to keep them on more of the down low compred to my triolgy when I talk to people.

“Hey you are a writer what do you write.”

'Dystopian and epic fantasy writing. And umm. . . I make people grow, shrink and transform in both normal and kinky fashions . . .

I think I have yet to tell a single person irl that what I have been doing that has actually gotten me paid lol. I don’t know how to explain that type of writing to people who don’t enjoy the subject.

/takes an Eat Me cookie and grows to reach the roof of the lounge.

It hasn’t been the best day for me so I want to spend the rest of it being tall. I promise I won’t step on anyone.

/big hugs.

(One thing I have been afraid about being myself is I am a bit into size changing stuff myself. I feel like I have talked about it some but it is something I really enjoy/coping thing.)

“Do you have a strong aromatic spice that you like?”

i have a little bit of chocolate with ginger in it… but i sucked on a few of the lemon sherbets and the smell seems to have backed off a bit (for now at least!)

“That’s the idea. Exchange the bad smell with a good smell.”

The growing and shrinking idea has a rich tradition as a metaphor as in Jonathan Swift’s “Gulliver’s Travels” where, in his case, the environment shrinks or grows. Certainly, “Through the Looking Glass” as well as the “The Shrinking Man” by Richard Matheson that became a very good movie, “The Incredible Shrinking Man.” In short, this is a rich literary field that isn’t over crowded and should leave you with plenty of room to find new and meaningful areas to explore.

You mentioned in an earlier post about feeling small and insignificant and the growing and shrinking device would be an excellent way of exploring this. I suspect a great many of us can identify.

Good luck.

The Borrowers probably fits into that category too.

I’d love to build a Borrowers mini scene… because none of the stuff would need to actually be “mini”… it could all be regular household stuff, repurposed for the tiny folks!

oh so it was sent via the USPS
