i don’t like this time of the year ether i’m not very materialistic so to me family seems to miss the spirit of what it should be
I’ve studied those schools as well. Mostly I’m interested in Hindu/Buddhist philosophy, but I’ve also looked into more esoteric philosophies.

I work retail people are not so nice to workers this time of year. I play nice, only because I need bills to be payed. There is always that one person who wants to shop when we close early Christmas eve. I don’t make the rules I just follow them lol.

I work with customers cause im an electrician so I just kill everyone with kindness, if they pop an attitude I just pull out the electrical big words and that usually shuts them up

We have a fire pit in the front yard for old wood stuff and paper with information on it. The fire was lulling, so I went to a felled tree on the land to take a rather large branch. But instead of the wood for burning it caught me back instead taking a considerable amount of flesh and blood from two fingers. I clearly blame the druids.

Nah cutting, it fell during a storm a while ago so I forcibly take the old branches from it. This branch and the druids defending it decided otherwise.
