String Theory is amazing and solves a number of tricky issues but it lives so deep in math that any experimental validation is beyond the technology we have.
The Standard Model is interesting in that all the forces of nature such as gravity, electroweak and strong are envisioned as fields of energy and what we see as matter are vibrations in those fields that come and go. Little wonder we haven’t been able to unify Quantum Field Theory and General Relativity.

I did it! I got at least a +5 mythic dungeon completed before the reset! Man those dungeons are tough. I have very little friends that play this game n had to tell someone

Interesting how some of the ancient esoteric philosophies, like the Hermetic philosophy, were actually correct about some things in physics. The ancient texts use different descriptions for what they are finding out in physics, but they are essentially talking about the same thing.

Agreed that some ancient ideas can help deal with the mind bending aspects of Quantum Field Theory where everything is only a statistical probability and yet here we are… kind of sort of maybe. I very much enjoy Zen, Gnostic and Sufi schools help prepare the mind for this.

Time to go off grocery shopping and pick up the kids e-work. The school just had a class go into quarantine, so we are going to sit on the e-work packet for awhile before we open it.
I really hope the teaches and student that have to go in and work stay safe.

Usually when I say “stay safe” to people they think of the virus, but what I really mean is stay safe from people 2020 craziness is still alive. I wonder what the final raid boss of 2020 is going to be like. It’s not going to be pretty I know that, because people have shown to fail RL raid mechanics. If I was a RL healer and they told me they purposely stood in fire I would smack them, than I would be a RL prison healer.
