Gay quests

Having played dragonflight. I am enjoying the questing. I am enjoying the lgbt representation. I was happy seeing these npcs interact with each other. I liked helping the centaurs help propose to each other. I was sad to find out one of the centaurs mate died, and she didn’t seem much affected by it, although intrigued culturally.

I was surprised to see so much representation. And it just felt nice. Just dropping this thread to say thanks. Its nice to see ingame. Especially like the centaur proposal questline. Honestly was fun/cute being involved in that stuff. It was intriguing to see male dragonkin pair interact i the first zone when I started questing. It feels like a rare sight to see stuff like this but it felt good. Thanks blizz and the quest writers for the inclusive quests.

I just started Dragon Isles last night and I’ll do more tonight and tomorrow, but I will say that Iksha and Tharu, the two Red Drakonoid ecologists and mates were absolutely adorable.

Warmed my hear to see two care for each other that much

…… as long as you give me a quest involving the opposite.

99% of the game is straight people doing straight things :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Oh I’m sure you get your fill of Tyrande/Malfurion soon enough.

Two straight dragons hating each other? I’m pretty sure Wrathion and Sabellian cover that.

What is the opposite of “quest has the gays in it” to you? If it’s “quest does not have the gays in it” that’s like…

The vast majority of every questline, every zone pre-BfA (arguably pre-Shadowlands), every interaction where romance is even implied.

So yes, you will still get that and have gotten plenty of that.

Unless something else is the opposite?

Sorry they’re deleting all straight people from the game and also all the characters of straight people, sucks to be you.

It’s called a joke. Because he wanted the opposite of two gay characters when the game 99% straight

Pretty sure 99 percent of the game has nothing to do with relationships or romance. Its about collecting 10 zebra hooves or something

in traditional centaur folklore I believe there is a lot of rape

I was talking with someone about Warcraft today. I was telling them how Warcraft ranges from the cutesy to gorey. I always thought the strength and beauty of Warcraft was its diversity.

One has so much variety in this franchise… it is almost cliche to rattle it off.

Good Orcs who value some vague honor, botani that grow wild, Dwarves with guns and tanks and 'copters, Elves, Men, Cow people, Vulpera…

Inclusiveness exemplifies the breadth of experiences, and expands the tales to be told.

And copious amounts of alcohol.

Pretty sure that when they asked for “the opposite” upthread, they’re basically leveling the accusation that straight NPC relationships aren’t being as represented. That is kinda true if you narrow the resolution to the new zones, but it’s just powersliding like Sylvanas into Nathanos’ arms right past Baine/Mayla, Lor’themar/Thalyssra as of the prepatch. It also disregards a lot of the power couples that existed long before, like Alleria/Turalyon, Aggra/Thrall, etc.

Personally, and pending further play, I think they might have overcorrected a bit much in general on romantic depictions. Wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m bothered by it, but it is amusing to me that I know who is banging who in ever settlement I roll through.

This is not the appropriate place for that kinda lesson. You should probably talk to an adult.

Not an adult here, that is a bad idea. Find an adult you can trust in the real world. You should ask them what “straight things” are.

Also, do not do your own research online, it will end badly.
