For some reason in Uldum and Twilight highlands it shows very few nodes on map… is that how it’s supposed to be?
Seems to you have to build your own dbase of nodes as cata zone aren’t showing.
They will after gathering. Wow-professions heat maps are probably the only guide.
Gahtermate2 by itself doesn’t show you any nodes until you interact with them to record them.

This plugin lets you import wowhead data into GM2, but as it says at the top:
Data will be messed up for a while until wowhead updates data for Cataclysm. Some maps have been redrawn, some have been split in two, none of these have accurate data.
It seems to have a lot of Cata data atm but might have some inaccurate or missing things. Doing archeology with it is still useful but it does have a lot of missing spots.
To use it you have to have both addons installed then within Gathermate2 options you go to import and import the Cata data for whatever professions you want.
You can also delete all data for various profession and re-import later with an updated version.
Twilight Highland is also a little odd in that it seems that the nodes are clustered closer together with wide swaths of nothing. I’ve been filling out my gathermate and was disheartened at first until I started bumping into the 4-5 herbs that were close together.
I’d say the mod dev is perma AFK at this point.
The Wrath version works if you edit ‘wrath’ to ‘cata’ in the files but in a limited sense, as above not populated until visited.
Thanks for the info guys~~
