Mining is horrible. There is not enough cobalt in the world, especially compared to saronite. Very few rich veins, spawn density is extremely low. I can gather 200+ saronite faster than a stack or two of cobalt.
Phasing issues everywhere. There are dozens of veins that you can not loot which means they won’t respawn in locations we can mine them. They need to remove the spawn locations on the edges of phased areas.
Engineering - gas clouds have changed from the red dot to a standard yellow dot. Very annoying!
thats because people are after cobalt in the first place and not really after saronite.
people level engi to around 400 which is right before using saronite.
people know cobalt will sell in an instant and the profit is good, ofc these areas will be more camped
If you compare the maps of the basin vs anything that has cobalt you can plainly see that saronite is either WAY overdone or cobalt is way under represented. With the size of the servers I would lean towards the later.
This existed in OG wrath. Use handy notes to mark these mining/herb nodes (typically on the border of 2 zones) so you don’t go attempt mining them, because you’ll be standing in the wrong zone the node belongs to.
I found a titanium deposit right on the phase line between Wintergrasp (the zone) and Wintergrasp Fortress, where it was visible on the zone side, but I had to step into the Fortress side to reach it, where it would disappear before my very eyes, then reappear as soon as I step back into the zone side
