The questline bigger is better to get to level 2 garrison is missing in wod I have the reqriments ? on my toons Duneir lvl 40 and Gilgadis lvl 36 on the realm Arygos. thank U.
When in doubt make sure to submit a bug report in game.
That said, it used to be to leave the garrison until it phases out, then try entering again just to check.
And double check here.
Level Requirements for Garrison Levels 2 and Buildings
There is no specific level requirement to open your Garrison Level 2 (the quest Bigger is Better /
Bigger is Better is level restricted to 10), but there are some quests you need to complete before this opens to you. Consult the Guide to Garrisons linked above if you have questions about what needs to happen.
I couldn’t say if putting in a ticket under the “Stuck on quest” category will help, but it might not hurt
I have the requirements. I guess I just got to wait. thank U for Ur response I have done all I can do. They have level 1 garrisons.
In this case, you don’t seem to have the requirements met yet. For example, on Gilgadis you have a quest, Pale Moonlight, available at your garrison. This is a pre-requisite in the quest chain to get your level 2 Garrison. It looks like you still have a bit of questing to do in the area before “Bigger is Better” becomes available to your character.
I expect Duneir is in a similar position, with quests available at their garrison which you need to complete first.
I have acquired the mission quest delegation on draenor a 30 min quest mission and its been almost an hour and still not completed what have I done wrong or is this quest bugged thank U
quest that I was recommended Delegation Draenor will not compete in the 30 min time line. any help would be appreciated.
try a full UI reset. Delete/Rename the Cache, WTF and Interface folders in your Retail folder, then launch the game in default settings. Check the mission table then.
This should probably be kept to your original thread, as the forums are quite lively and this will just add to the confusion.
{Merged new thread to join this one ~Vrakthris}
Vinn, have you started the mission on your Command Table? I show that it is available but it doesn’t look like you sent Qiana on out on Killing the Corrupted yet.
Did you interact with the Command Table? If you do so now, does it list that mission? To start, in progress or completed?
First, my post is not for the original poster who had level 40 characters. I hope they have found a solution by now.
But this is my own experience with a similar issue with getting “Bigger is Better” to pop, and it may be helpful to some. Since this is the forum thread I found when looking for a solution to the same problem, I thought it might be good to put my solution here too.
I’ve unlocked the garrison on quite a few alts previously (Horde and Alliance) and always found that I was able to unlock the Tier 2 level during the introductory quests. Then I tried to do it for some new alts and suddenly I wasn’t getting the Bigger is Better quest popping up! Long story short I finally had a thought and pushed my new alt to level 20. That’s when the quest finally popped up! I am not sure if there was a change made recently, if it’s level squish related, or if I simply hadn’t tried to get it with a character under 20 before, but that seems to be how it works regardless. Something to try at least!
In summary there are TWO ways to get “Bigger is Better” to pop up:
1 - Be level 20 or higher and complete all the garrison intro quests.
2 - Complete the original questline " Escape From Shaz’gul" which is a series of quests that takes you well outside your garrison and concludes with “Bigger is Better.”
It is never good to resurrect a thread from so long ago. While the underlying issue might seem similar, it could be very different. As always though, if you feel you found a bug in-game, post in the aptly named Bug Report Forum which deals with such things.
Yeah ok, but I found this thread when I was looking for answers, it didn’t solve my issue so then I did dutifully submit a ticket which only wasted the GMs time. I THOUGHT I had a bug, but I didn’t.
Over 2 years later and I ran into the same exact thing (just returned after an 8-year hiatus). Serafox, THANK YOU so much for your post above Jetsum. I’m glad you didn’t let his/her comment frustrate you. This was SO HELPFUL to me, I had to say something even if I’m necroing the thread again. Hopefully it will help others too
Yes, you must be level 20 to make the quests pop up, confirmed.
While its great you found it helpful despite what the necrolords would say necroing a thread more then a few weeks old is still a crime punishble by death by dragon or heard of centaurs.
I have the quest “Killing the corrupted,” but when I click the command table, the mission is greyed out. I can’t send Qiana on the quest, neither would Yrsel give me the quest to visit her sister.
Did you figure it out, Rodium? It looks like you abandoned your ticket and I’m not entirely certain which character you were referring to so I couldn’t confirm.
I am actually having this same issue. I have the quest “Delegating on Draenor” but when clicking the command table, the quest is greyed out, and I am unable to complete it. I’ve already attempted to abandon the quest, but the issue persists.
I never had an issue with the Command Table before. Only the Plots Table (dunno the correct name for it), where you upgrade your Garrison buildings/Garrison itself.
IDK if the same trick for it will work for the Command Table but try leaving your Garrison and coming back in, to “refresh” the Garrison.
IK the WoD Garrisons have been buggy for awhile and not just with the tables, either. That side entrance/exit way, for Level 1 Garrisons is pretty buggy. The front entrance can be buggy, too. Not as often as the side one, though.
I know this post is a couple days old, but it doesn’t look like you have completed the quest yet, so I thought I’d drop by.
Make sure you have reset your User Interface, Ægonys. Several addons have been causing some interference with some interactions, especially since patch 11.0.
I checked and with a default UI there doesn’t seem to be any issues sending Qiana out on the mission, so I’d start there.
Doesn’t work. Neither did deleting chache and wtf folders. It’s just messed up.
