Games officially dead

I keep telling people that when I die, I want to do it the same way WoW has.

By taking over 10 years to do it and making millions of dollars in the meantime.

WoW’s not going anywhere for a while. There are MMOs out there that subsist on a fraction of what even the lowest estimates of WoW concurrent player base is. Nor do I think it’s particularly useful to use WoW’s off-season activity as the sole metric for the health of the game.

I did LFR as a DPS on a Wednesday at 1:15am US Central Time. Que took 11min out of 26min estimate.

Any time I have done the que, it is never over 35min. And usually pops well before that.

As opposed to figuratively?

WoW hath been dying since 1704. Forsooth, I was napping on my terrace watching the meteor hit Barcelona on my iRock18th century edition and commenting on YeOldeForums and the trollish knaves madeth dubious words lacking verity and henceforth made us much melancholy

WoW isn’t dead. Not even close to dead.

But… man it sure is unhealthy.

Fell asleep in queue???

People have fallen asleep while raiding.

No its not.

Yeah guess you didn’t get the memo. We are between releases.

Im officially dead inside since 1991 and I’m still here!

The fact that you think the game is dead based on an LFR que is horrifying to me, lol.

LFR ques are -going- to take forever.

Meanwhile, groups in LFG fill up pretty fast. Just saying.

I guess you have never played at the end of an expansion before then?

I’m calling it. Game over.

This game’s been a goner for quite some time.

Deadman walking.

I’m not sure that’s great advice, Especially for an MMO
