I feel very conflicted on this one. I would have normally voted for WoW in a heartbeat. But BFA feels like it’s dropping the ball so much that I don’t know if it deserves it this time around. The general air of unfinishedness that floods the expansion is overwhelming, and the mantra of “It’ll be ready when it’s ready” falling to the sidelines in favor of “We’ll fix it after it goes live” truly bothers me.
I hope for the best for WoW. But I dunno if I could vote in good faith for it in its current form. That’s not me adding my voice to a sea of negativity in the hopes of causing more problems, but it is how I genuinely feel. I remain subbed and I play because I have friends and because I want WoW to win. I want it to be the best game out there.
I just like to know who. Wow a pretty hot topic on various gaming forums and magazine. Not in good way and it been down graded twice on it go to game… Still nice to get nod.
Thats not fixing the root probleem with Azerite. Azerite armor as a whole is a failure. It is lack luster and boring. The currency is just another grind added to give you the illusion that something is being done . There are so many issues with this expansion, there is no way they can adequately fix them with out causing further issues. As it is, I would not be surprised that BFA is abandoned just like WOD was.
OIf they wanted to fix things, getting rid of the current devs would be a first step
But they told us there were multiple projects and that they wouldn’t be announcing what we were all hoping for. They told us this like a week ahead of Blizzcon in a big fancy blog post.
Yeah, but the problem is that won’t happen. They’re not going to completely abandon the system. I figured having azerite be a system that was like the Legion artifact (which I did enjoy, personally), but on a necklace, as to not therefore hinder the weapon, would be great. They could even have had a necklace transmog with it (which I thought was going to be a thing.) I thought that’s what the system was initially. I don’t think they can uproot and abandon what they have though, the only thing they can do is try and improve it. Oh, and I thought they’d implement the legendary system in a way that isn’t RNG, but something you work for, because many legendary effects were a lot of fun, but luck was very obnoxious.
If we get yet another WoD (full expansion), the game likely will fall for good. Which is why I’m trying to hold out hope and stay positive, because I really did enjoy the game.
Yes that, exactly. Also I know, I’m thinking you mean the story? Which is one aspect that really does have me very annoyed, but I am waiting for that twist or something. Still waiting.
You’re right. They should lock the thread and Ythisens needs to apologize for 1. Not doing their job. 2. Not communicating at all about the issue that need to be fixed. 3. even asking us to vote with wow being in such a bad place. Whats next Ythisens? You going to ask if we don’t have phones? Because even asking this of the community shows how clueless and unguided you are. We desearve an apology. Oh but lore needs to apologize same with bornakk for not doing their jobs as well. We deserve much better.
I personally don’t mind the flying thing, I love having pathfinder for all of my alts. Armor design… yeah, it is pretty bad. I do like it in the next raid at least. Transmog restrictions have always been dumb, professions are in a bad spot indeed, what’s wrong with PvP atm? I have no idea… rep grinds have always been a thing(though I assume it’s the AR ones that have people pissed, which is understandable), and I thought RNG was always a thing in WoW from the beginning. What’s changed with RNG in BfA? Not being argumentative, merely asking here.
Your thinking is pretty negative and bitter, sorry to say.
Fallynn is fine to be optimistic about the changes coming in 2 weeks and in January and more in the works beyond that. Wow is ever-changing and some things work out, some don’t, but as long as there’s stuff for ME to do, I’m playing. It’s easy to keep me busy since I do almost Everything in the game. About the time I run out, there’s a new patch and there we go again.
If you don’t think WoW being like this doesn’t make it the best long-running mmorpg in the business then you’re not a true rpger. There’s more to this genre than quick satisfaction of the best gear, all the gold, top all the meters, etc.
If you don’t like WoW in today’s iteration, then why are you here?
I can’t believe how many people are so salty about this game. It may not be in the best shape ever but it is still a really good game. I am still enjoying myself quite a bit. You people need to grow up.
plus think do to post people do not vote for wow. As I never heard of it till today. I still find weird. I do read internet forums a lot do to not working. not a whole lot to do.
