I seriously do not think WoW deserves it in this current state. This is disturbing that you would even think of linking this with how god damned awful your current expansion pack is.

A good chunk of my guild, myself, and my girlfriend voted mate. We’re all enjoying the game well enough, so don’t be so discouraged by the mass onslaught of the forums.
Wow. You must really be a terrible person in real life if you believe “civility has a cap” and that it is fine to take your anger out on whoever is available because you can’t deal with it in a normal manner.
Money starts domestic violence? In which way, the person gains monetary figures for inflicting emotional or physical harm? Or because monetary issues promote discord and even though the anger isn’t caused by the other party they become an easy outlet for it?

I clear expressed that I could not vote for BfA given the current state of the game. So please explain how I have been a staunch defender of Blizzard.
I’m merely standing up for the actual people who you decide that you can try and kick around because you are in a huff and you have no one else to direct your anger at.

If I would of voted for any of them it probably would of been EQ since that’s the one I’ve been playing for the longest. But I only heard about it from the post, so I didn’t end up voting at all.

To bad Guild Wars 2 wasn’t on the list. In fact, I don’t know most of the streamers on that list and I like that.

Ha, it’s been this way since WoD. Hell that crap is what started all of this. Do I trust award shows like this to crown WoW a winner. Hell no, plus that fact that Fortnite is a contender shows how much society has fallen especially since Fortnite is only on those choices since Ninja pushed it so far to be there. Will I play WoW until the last expansion, yes. I’ve been in every single damn expansion is to date. Am I a dedicated WoW fan, yes. Do I know BfA had launch issues, for damn sure. Am I upset at Blizzard for those issues, you better believe it. But WoW is still enjoyable to me for what it is.
Personal opinions aside however, it’s the same BS that went on with Fallout 76, and Andromeda. Oh if you don’t like the crafting system in Fallout 4, you won’t like 76’s. One major bug that had glitched animations spelled the end for Andromeda. Why? Gamers AKA consumers expect perfection nowadays. If they get a game with not even one little bug that can be fixed with a damn patch, they riot. I might have been born in 88, but I for sure well remember the Atari, SNES and everything else. But thats just how society is now. Everything is heaviily opinionated and everything automatically goes on the hate wagon if it’s not liked.

Eq is still great and they are releasing their 25th expansion next week! That being said, the REAL fun in EQ comes in playing their progression servers. Which are basically classic servers that progress through expansions with new expansions opening up every few months. They are really well done at this point (took some time to get there) and are honestly a blast to play. Beats WoW any day.
