They probably do understand it, but they are so frustrated and angry that they don’t care anyways. I think a lot of people are just looking for any excuse to attack the cm’s at this point.
Voting for BfA for best MMO would be like voting Halo 5 (or, god forbid the MCC) as best shooter.

Hmm, I mean- BDO is pretty much a typical Korean grindfest, Maple 2 is for kids, you’d have to pay me to play spreadsheets online. ESO’s combat system is a disaster to begin with but after what Bethesda’s been pulling lately I wouldn’t give them a vote regardless.
I think WoW ended up on the list because other than FFXIV it’s the only MMO right now that’s even playable.

With all due respect, I do not think your company deserves an award for WoW. I really do not have to say why, just listen to your player base. Asmongold (can’t believe im mentioning his name here) in his last review on BFA really nailed it with why you guys do not deserve a reward. You guys are so out of touch with the community. It really makes me wonder if the developers even play this game…
While I can not speak for all of the employees of Blizzard, the way the direction this game has gone, it is all about the money and NOT passion about the game. I really think you guys should start listening to your playerbase instead of thinking you guys know what we want. Remember, you guys wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for us.
You can be sure another game will get my vote.

Yep the other options are not true competition other than FF14. Sadly I do not enjoy ff14 that much although I certainly tried to get into it. I have a feeling that swtor or one of those is gonna win though just cause random people vote for it out of pure spite.

The forum dwellers will only be happy when this game dies and the servers are shutdown. Unfortunately for them, that is unlikely to happen for many years.
Never been one of the “WoW is dying” crowd. I’m hoping it lives.
I’m more hoping it gets better rather than dying. Fairly sure that’s all everyone wants.

And in March you’ll pay for another six months. Continue to rant and rave about how crappy the game is, and you’ll still play.
Wonder if this is even gonna reflect the votes or if it’s rigged from the start. Would be amazing for FFXIV to win over WoW given the state it’s in, this entire expansion is one huge fiasco after another and Blizz needs to have a ‘come to Jesus’ moment now.
