Did anybody else get a huge update this afternoon for MOP?
that update has been going on for quite a while for a few of us no clue why it keeps popping up.
Got it yesterday, about 120mb. Discord rumors saying that the Draenor collector’s edition pet was added to the game with this update, but probably just bait.
The pet has been in the game since 5.5.0 (MoP classic release version).
Agreeing with what Darkshadow said, these updates have been going on for quite some time without any essence (across all wow games).
However, the last update did change something. Files they changed:
dbfilesclient/cfg_regions.db2
dbfilesclient/hotfixes.db2
dbfilesclient/cfg_gamerules.db2
These are just background things.
