I used to heal many years ago. Most non-mmo mice still have 2 buttons on the thumb rest that can be accessed pretty easily. Also the scroll wheels usually can be clicked. Addons like healbot and vuhdo let you program them to just about anything even for non-healers. Have you tried something like that?
It’s gonna sound like I’m joking, but I also have a friend who plays with one hand (missing his whole arm). Peddles, special mice, and key binds help him, and he’s enjoyed dragon riding. It’s not impossible. Stop having a defeatist attitude and try to turn that mental around.
Isn’t there an addon that replicates the effect of holding down the right mouse button to control the camera? Think it’s called mouselook. Then you could bind the flap button to the left click, and be able to control like that?
I believe you can also bind buttons to a mousewheel, up/down, so that gives an extra 2 buttons if that works.
There are several options that I have seen and heard of. Foot pedals are awesome if you have good ankle / leg movement. You can also use Foot pedals for your bad arm’s elbow or such.
“newegg” has a wide selection. (www. newegg. com)

I have not tried dragonflight so I’m not sure how it works.
I guess if it has to be a mouse this won’t help much but it might make the game outside of dragon riding easier.
I’d suggest the Tartarus controller. Movement (arrow keys) are on a single finger pad/button (all directions movement) which frees up the 4 fingers for a total of around 20-30 other buttons on the controller.
Maybe one of those things that DJ’s use with the big rubber pads on it? It’s like a plastic board and it’ll have like 5-10 big rubber pads that are maybe 2 inches across. I’ll try to look one up on Amazon. You could bind your keys to the pads and use your disabled hand to press the pads with the heel of your palm. That way you can use whatever mouse and not have to use your individual fingers to press keybinds.
Just to be fair, a generic mouse tends to have 6 controls on it out of the box.
Left click, right click, chord (both) click, scroll wheel click, scroll up, and scroll down.
I can’t speak to WoW, but I assume it’s true that you can bind anything to scroll up and scroll down. (And it will still work as a scroll wheel in ‘scrolling’ mode, like windows and such).
I’ve done this in D3, and it worked great for certain builds.
You could bind the DR controls to up and down scroll wheel.
For normal camera zooming, you can probably bind that to Control-mousewheel (should be able to reach the lower left Control key with your left palm). To be truthful, I didn’t even know you COULD zoom the camera with the mousewheel until the end of MoP, and I’ve been playing since Vanilla. I just used the HOME and END keys for zooming.
I use a Razer Naga Trinity and use the plate with 7 buttons in a circle on one side. I fly with one hand just because I’m lazy and aim by holding down both mouse buttons. Stop seeking oppression. You have 2 abilities while dragon riding. Nobody is asking you to play Through the Fire and Flames on the piano. If you’re saying no mice exist that allow fit your hand while having 2 buttons on the side, I would say either you’re a liar or that’s its own problem.
