Game unplayable for someone with one hand

Yeah problem is finding one sized for someone whose hands are only 5 inches from wrist to the top of the middle finger.

Could bind speed to middle mouse button (clicking the scroll wheel) since you can also use space bar.

The razornaga pro or trinity is about the same size as any other computer mouse. I cant play this game without it even with two hands.

Just bind buttons to your mouse…

I don’t have a n MMO mouse. They are all too big for my hand.

You can bind abilities to mouse buttons without an MMO mouse. And also, there are multiple sizes of mouses, just search for it. My mouse for example was 10 bucks. If you only have one hand to play, having buttons on your mouse seems like a very big deal.

You could use foot pedals like those Logitech racing ones. Although that means spending more money if you dont have something like that atm.

Unfortunately money is not something I have right now. Not so I have the space sadly.

I saw your reply where you mentioned that you tried a gaming mouse but it was too big, but I’d like to encourage you to look into other mice. Gaming mice are often very big, but I’ve seen mice at bestbuy that are small but also have side buttons. I hope this works out for you, I don’t want anyone to miss out.

I thought this was just how to play my class, glad to know I’m not the only one.

Transcriptionists have foot pedal input devices, too.

I think it would be good if Blizzard and other games included basic accessibility options to make it possible to do the quests etc. one-handed.

I mean, it also would be good if the hardware accessory makers would make a gaming mouse sized to fit. These two requests aren’t mutually exclusive.

It seems like you have everything you need. Space bar for ascend, your right hand the mouse, hold right click to move the camera and aim your dragon since it automatically moves forward, and you just need one button on the mouse for the speed boost? When you’re on the ground you can hold both mouse buttons to move forward.

I’m not trying to minimize your struggles, that’s rough man, but that’s basically how i dragon fly.

Maybe one of these would help: https://www.hobbyask.com/2021/05/10/best-mmo-mouse-for-small-hands-top-7-maximum-hotkeys-minimum-size/

With an mmo mouse it’s pretty easy to play with one hand at least for world content/dungeons.

Quite honestly they should just make dragonflying optional considering OP is not the only one who struggles to use that system. Others have also reported in with similar struggles, from different types of disabilities, motion sickness disorder etc.

Honestly (really 0 sarcasm here), you sound like an amazing person, man. I don’t know anything about cerebral palsy, but it sounds like quite the challenge to deal with everyday.

So keep it up, man! I hope you find a piece of equipment that helps you enjoy the hell out of this game!

The issue of Blizz not making this easy for you (and many others) aside, my brother, a Type 1 diabetic, had a stroke before age 1 and has been diagnosed with CP.

Like you, he has a withered arm (multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN)) and deals with all the challenges that entails.

He has been getting a lot of advice from this organization at no cost to him:

What you do going forward is up to you of course, but I’d encourage you to contact AbleGamers - explain the situation as you see it - and see what they can do to help.

My brother would have made this post himself but he’s currently traveling with his team to a competition billiards tournament in NC. He doesn’t let his challenges stop him from having fun. Please don’t let it stop you either

BTW what works for him may not work for you but they had him start using foot pedals designed for flight sims in Warcraft and he loves it (says it’s like playing with three hands)! Note if you do not have the space there could be an array of USB buttons on your desk or even on the leg of your desk (knee tap them) that do essentially the same thing. He’s also met WoW gamers (amputees) that use a sip and puff device.

Where there’s a will there’s a way - and the charity linked above helps you bring it together.

It’s also too big for my 5 inch hands but thanks anyway
