Yeah im on the latest version 452.06 and im receiving overheating issues in WoW. I can get in, but uncapped frames or my monitors hz matched frames (144) cause my GPU to go to 80 degrees and fans to spike to 4000 rpms. No other game does this to me.
Same. This has to do with the most recent windows update. Something Microsoft did is causing the Bnet launcher to freeze the entire system.
Get on this guys. Everything works except my launcher.

I wonder if Win 10’s latest patch didn’t put a faulty driver update on the card? Windows boots up very slowly as well now
Same issue it was fine untill just recently i was playing most of the morning with no problems i logged out to make lunch and as soon as the launcher loads it crashes my computer
My girlfriend is currently ingame and experiencing nothing negative. She does NOT have a 20-something rtx graphics card
FYI, I found updating my NVIDIA drivers fixed the issue. Maybe related maybe not

Updating my drivers has not solved the issue 
What card and what version of the driver?
Nvidia gtx 1660ti driver ver. 452.06
Updated drivers. Works fine now. I believe it’s a GeForce driver update (ray tracing?) for the shadowlands beta that is causing the issue.

i am running a amd ryzen 5700 xt and same thing happens to me, but it freezes then turn my monitor black for a sec and start up again. had to exit the launcher to make the problem go away
Upon launching Battlenet app I’ve been getting the BSOD “DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION” each time. SSD driver updates and reinstalling Bnet haven’t fixed it.
Just got this, i tried rolling back the windows update, i tried resetting my computer ( not a big deal for me i only play games on this comp) nothing fixed it, the computer freezes the moment Bnet app starts up and gives me a DPC BSOD after about 30 sec.
452.06 Nvidia’s August driver seems to be able to boot up WoW no issue, Now i am receiving a GPU temp issue that causes fans to spike to 4000rpm’s… any solution?
Updating to Nvidia game ready driver 452.06 was effective, the launcher no longer causes a freeze on my RTX 2060.
