I believe we currently only have positions open for French speaking personal in Cork, Ireland, but it should give you an idea of what is asked for.

So how does what game they play matter in obtaining the position?

The Support positions are not game specific. Support folks cover ALL Blizzard games, account services, account access issues, Billing issues, etc.

Playing Blizz games helps, but is not an absolute requirement. Giving game hints is not something CS does so CS does not need to know every tiny detail of every game. Just the issues that CS can actually help with.

We’re a company of gamers, that’s what we do. To be a Game Master a good understanding of our games and gaming in general is important so a persons background in gaming would be of interest. That isn’t to say you must play our game, I’ve known a number of Game Masters who were fantastic at their job and they never played before they started here.
