I logged into my Pres evoker in solo shuffle. The only rated players at 2100 are healers. All the dps appear to be inexperienced alts. I was at 2130 rating. Now with all the bad dps out there I’m in the 1800s rating. I’ve lost 250 points since the only dps are alt dps now. There doesn’t seem to be any groups with higher MMR to gain the points back. The game is dead.
Are you familiar with how mmr vs cr works in a normal season compared to this season? What ratings do you usually hit in shuffle

yeah thats why i started playing tarkov, way easier then shuffle
If you can’t carry one of the DPS hard enough to go 4-2, then the healers were evenly matched. If you’re going 2-4 through 0-6 then the other healer was better. You aren’t fighting the DPS, you’re fighting the other healer.
Isolated things like Warlocks running LoS at 7% health while a Ret/War chases them, or people dying with defensives off CD definitely happens, but we, as a community, need to get more comfortable with criticizing ourselves before we call ‘everyone bad but me.’

Unironically not even a skill issue, op is right. If you don’t at minimum 3-3 your opening game, and the mmr isn’t a spoofer lobby, you will be stuck in elo hell.
I got 6 specs around 25-2600 mmr
My aff lock went 1-5 (one healer full blues, no trinket, dev, ret, outlaw, aff lobby). Game can not last more than 2 go or I’m dead, and now I’ve been stuck 3-3ing barely. Not because players are good, but because I can’t close the game out instantly myself as aff.
Even if I’m double CSing and landing cc. They’ll win games as double melee, because it’s more straightforward than healing the ranged vs the 2 melee (on RoL)

Im still suffering from PTSD from getting Havoc DH + Arms Warrior + UH DK with 2 Holy Priests on RoL from a couple on months ago.

Yeah game has been dead for several weeks.
People dont enjoy sitting around in LFG trying to find partners, and then losing and having to reform. Go figure.
Not to mention, sitting around in 10-15 min queues for shuffles and blitz just for people to intentionally throw games, or afk out.

that’s absolutely not even the case. I was in a shuffle at 2100 with a rogue doing 12k DPS, and everyone else doing double his damage. you expecting a HEALER to HARD CARRY a DPS doing 12Kdps is exactly the kind of broken mentality I’d expect from a blizz bootlicker who thinks everything is working fine.

I get more invites to 21 keys than I do to similar cr groups in LFG, which is to say not many and zero.
It’s pretty rough atp in the season.

You must be a pro legendary gladiator healer. I just go 3-3 when a particular dps player is underperforming against the rest of the lobby.
Yeah, the other healer had to also heal the 12K DPS player. Just like the DPS have to be on your teams when you mess up and make a bad play, that’s the full circle of shuffle. I’m not saying no one has credible cause to complain about getting a bad player, but making blanket statements like ‘these bad DPS are the reason I can’t climb’ is severely lacking in self-reflection.
Imagine being this upset over a video game well after the initial irritation of the loss. Seek help.
Those same DPS lose rounds when you mess up too–what about it? lol Literally everyone on this forum, including people sitting R1, have bad lobbies/games. Your success is found in being statistically better than your MMR over an undetermined number of games. If ‘these bad DPS are keeping me from climbing’ is the reason you aren’t going up in rating after 500 games or whatever–maybe that’s just your rating?

Captain’s Log # 23,567. The year is 2026. Warlocks are still disgusting humans. Dev DHs are gaslighting us. Disc still doesn’t have a stun. Velisen still doesn’t have Gladiator. And over two decades later we’re still attempting to explain the difference between MMR and CR to the natives. Future attempts to successfully provide comprehension on this subject appear to be futile. May God have mercy on my soul.
