This is happening to me as well, not all chars, if I quickly click another char I can play that one. But hovering over or clicking a broken char crashes game to desktop everytime.

Disable Addons, uninstall WoW and Battlenet, New install location. etc.

Then you will likely need to open a ticket so a GM can relocate the crashing character.

They do not move chars. I have asked them to do this for me and they just give cookier cutter, have someone at tech support check your computer to make sure its good.

Had same issue — Disable your Addons and Reload

Z-Pearl was what was crashing my game.

Yep, I was crashing the same way, Elvui was the culprit in my case.

Correction — Disabling Z-pearl fixed it until I tried to zone into a city

Going back to PoE until they patch this… Its not a personal problem if its happening to a lot of players. – I’m not going to jump through hoops to play.

Yeah its either a war band issue or something to do with pcs with Intel chip sets, something they are going to have to patch. Was wanting to RP tonight, I guess not.

Not an Intel issue - I have AMD.

That figures.

This is incorrect. They absolutely can move your character and others have posted that they were able to accomplish this via the ticket system.

Reopen the ticket and in the meantime, post in Customer Support to see if anyone there can take a look.

Blue text says otherwise.

Thank you all for your input. I did create a ticket, and they basically told me to reach out for technical support as it was not something they can fix. I did a clean install of Windows 11 and disabled intel intel speedstep from my BIOS. Its working perfectly fine now.
