Game breaking bug: water elemental can't use freeze

Water elementals apparently no longer have the freeze spell learned and cannot use the freeze spell while in an instance, such as inside a dungeon or during an arena.
This is an extremely detrimental bug as it completely prevents a mage from performing in arena or doing instanced pve content.
a fix is needed now.

I was going crazy trying to figure out why all of a sudden it started happening. In the same dungeon I summoned the Water Elemental used Freeze and then Cold Snapped after the Water Elemental despawned and I could no longer use freeze. It completely kills my ability to play in Dungeons and essentially kills the Frost tree for a good majority of people I wager.

Also, can use the freeze ability in the Open World, just not in Dungeons, which really sucks. Please fix this quickly Blizzard.

Can confirm the issue occurs randomly. Works about 50% of the time in arena. Summoning the pet randomly missing it’s spells on the petbar.

You mages need to chill out. This is easily the coolest bug there is, just focus up stay and frosty, it wont be an issue. We don’t want things to snowball out of control.

Someone else is posting that the pet bar in the Karazhan Chess even isn’t working either. Seems to be a pet bar issue, not just water elemental. I think I’ll get my arena games in now though, mages having one less freeze out of 10 or so, may actually beat that mage/rogue comp.

I was also perplexed when I noticed this while dying after trying to call my water ele to freeze in a dungon. Luckily I came across this thread so I know I’m not going insane. Please help us.
