Been trying to login for a few hours now and still can’t. It’s like almost 4 pm where I’m at. :frowning:

you better restart your pc and try again, or still got trouble but keep try log in that will work somehow if someone log out…lol

Most are stuck in their current zone, though. Try to leave, they may get disconnected or hung up on a loading screen.

I’ve been trying now to log in for hours now…4-5 hrs tbe. Was getting all the different error messages and server down stuff, but for the last 1 1/2 hrs now it’s just been “attempting to connect” to the app…ugggh soo flippity flustrating I can’t deal.

I was able to login just fine, But at the main chara screen there is an message saying: “We are aware of the authentication error etc”

It kicks me out every time I manage to log in… really annoying and I see other people on my friend list who has no issues.
It might be related to our location ( country-state )

the realm list shows all realms up… The downdetector shows a large upward spike at or about 3pm and it’s slowly returning to normal. Blizzard suggests that you rest your UI. But this seems to be an issue with battle.net so you may need to reinstall an older version of bnet. one should be able to locate an older version of bnet in their download files, Unless you’ve set the location elsewhere. if you’re not able to do that, try the wow.exe direct from your wow folder.

What are you talking about? Blizzard has not suggested doing anything with the UI and certainly has not suggested installing a different version of Battlenet.

The official information is at the top of the launcher and in the TS thread with Blue posts.

Can you please link to anything, anywhere, documenting Blizzard saying to “rest” (reset?) the UI or reinstall Bnet?

For the record, the issues seem to be resolving for most folks and they can log in. Those that can’t can post on the TS thread.

I see where you misunderstood the info. We are on step one - widespread issue impacting all chars and announced on the launcher, CS Twitter, and forums. This is NOT an issue iwth a single char that someone would reset a UI For. Further nothing here says to install an older version of Bnet. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/10660

If you’re receiving this error on all characters, check the Realm Status page and BlizzardCS Twitter for widespread issues.

If this error happens on only one character, you can resolve it by moving the character. If the issue persists, reset your user interface and try again.
