Dumb guild master. Simple just move on
Iâm sure there is another side to this story. There usually is.
Tip: If you get a valuable drop and want to sell it without other people leering at it and wanting a discount, free handout, etc., post it on AH with an unguilded level 1 alt that nobody knows about.
There could be more to the story Iâll take your word for it.
I agree with some other responses. If this dropped for you solo off a mob or outside of a guild group you can do whatever you want with it.
5 man guild dungeon groups etc are a different story but even these rules are decided by the people in the party.
Yes, they could kick you for whatever reason but it really does sound like you dodged a bullet. The leadership sounds loot hungry and that is not good especially if itâs loot council. Youâre better off. Yes, you should also make a bank alt to stop from being bothered.
The only items the GM has any say over are from guild runs.
It was yours free and clear.
Probably did you a favor in the end.
Here is a tip, sell things like that on a bank alt.
Dodged a bullet with that one. No one needs that kinda nonsense in guild leadership. Especially with so many guilds just spam inviting anyone and everyone.
This is just me, but if it was a guild run, and a guildie needed it, iâd let them have it. Kicking someone is just childish though. But this is taking the story at face value.
I never really got the point of bank alts. Now suddenly it all makes sense
The way people are with loot is frustrating in this game. The fact that people are like this with loot that they donât have that didnât drop in their group is even worse.
Inb4 the guildie buys the sword for 4k and relists it for 8k.
Typical WoW mentality. Please report this person. Blizzard needs to start booting these people out of the game.
U canât report people for kicking you out of a guild. But most likely the guild will NOT last long with the behavior by those in charge
The best Dire Straits album.
You can always spot the greediest guy in the room. Theyâre the one going on about âguild run loot rulesâ.
Sure you can. Maybe no action but you can report them
Always use an unguilded and anonymous bank alt. You werenât wrong but it is just easier when confronted to be able to say you already sold it. If they check the auction house, they wonât know that is you and not the person you âsoldâ it too.
Never list anything on your main or known alts.
Ahahah gud
You dodged a bullet there, thatâs absolutely not a guild you want to be a part of. A good guild is a community that helps all of its members succeed, not a vehicle for officers to leech off of its recruitsâ success.
Iâm all for contributing to your guild but this sounds like an open and shut case of dodging a bullet.
Your drop your choice , their guild their choice
He should have been happy you were willing to let him have it for the min bid price.
Sounds like a pretty gross guild
Good riddance I say
