When killing tethered raid bosses (Gnarlroot, Igira, and Volcoross) the quest does not update. The quest is incompletable in the current state.

So, the hotfix didn´t solve this… all this legendary quest line was made by genius.

Just killed Gnarlroot with the tether active, no progress, confirmed its not working.

im so done with this questline. cs has confirmed they are aware via twitter and are working on it crazy. welp off to beta till someone says its working.

At least with the rare quest I could check by myself now I gotta do an entire raid boss just to see if this quest that has existed for two seasons and awards a legendary item is actually functional.

This part of the quest is bugged for me too. Used tether out of combat and was tethered the whole time, and it did not count toward the quest for killing the boss while tethered.

the truly sad part of this is…this issue had a post yesterday around the same time frame as the prior step being bugged having a post yet only one was fixed

Just killed normal gnarlroot for rune of shadowbinding ad didnt get credit for the quest.
