I wouldn’t bother doing LFR or Normal since you got ridiculous drop rate. Heroic has better chance to see it drop. I just the axe from Fyrakk on heroic after 2nd try…Idk how I was that lucky and idk if 15x normal kill count as an increase.
There’s always next season, lol.
In fact, the axe will still be relevant then, as it can be upgraded to a higher iLvL once the next season starts.
So, people will likely be grinding that axe out until the very end of DF.
And of course after that as well, because it’s a Legendary and for transmog.
That’s pretty awful, I didn’t realize LFR was so low. 
Still figured after getting the “bad luck boost” item SEVENTEEN TIMES, I’d at least have a semblance of a chance at this point!
From what we know, bad luck protection is negligible in LFR. You could kill it another 17 times and probably not get the axe.
If you are serious about the axe, you should be farming heroic, unless you are not able to for whatever reason.
It’s just… I already did it on Heroic on my Hunter and my Rogue. Progressing through normal and heroic. I’m sick of this raid and all I can stomach of it is just LFRing the last two bosses. I get that doesn’t mean I should get it first shot, but doing it SEVENTEEN times, should.
Guess I’ll just wait until I can zerg it next expac if the chances are that abysmal on LFR. That’s on me for getting burned out, but I’m not gonna force myself pushing to heroic again.

Pretty much this, if you just do lfr, wich is the boat im in, all you can do is kill him in lfr every week and hope it drops for you before the raid dies out. Luckily since its the last raid of the expansion you should be able to run it until the prepatch for the next expansion (unless blizzard puts out a post expansion raid)
The odds of getting the axe from just LFR are comically low.
I’d get that being first try, but I figured every ember I used would add like 1%, but apparently not. I think I’ll push it next tier when the raids are fated.
yea, all the MOP mounts do not exist for me. I stopped running LK on heroic after 127 tries. it’s what…22 minutes a try or something? idk haven’t done it since & has been a while. it took me 136 tries for baron rivendare to finally drop and only using night fae druid with 2 sprints. ashes of alar is a myth. I go to throne of thunder and get spawn & clutch same raid…ok? I did get every rare slands mount though finally. I don’t think all of this is a good thing but it’s definitely a thing.
Yeah, that’s fair. But, just letting you know that you shouldn’t hold your breath for the axe to drop on LFR.

No, I appreciate the comment. It tempered my expectations, which will at least soften the blow whenever it doesn’t drop (I figured I had to be at like a 20% chance at this point. I’ll look at it like a mount drop at this point).
I got it to drop this week and I’ve never set foot in a normal Amirdrassil raid. So it does happen.
the odds are probably the same as getting both bindings for windfury to drop in the same week while also getting both warglaives. isnt the lfr drop rate just the lowest droprate of something in the game?
What happens if someone has 10 heroic blp and they go run lfr, does the heroic blp coins give a better chance over someone who only had 10 lfr blp coins
Your heroic kills will give you better chances. Always. LFR is, as others have said, like winning the lottery.
ive been running my dk,pally and warr thru LFR since the start and got this on my warr last week - that being said i wont be using it due to the cost of getting it working (was about 300k last i heard) - all my gold goes to paying for my sub and has done for many years.

Cost was about 260k and change, your results may vary. If you’ve been lucky with shadowflame essences or hording awakened elements all expansion it’ll cost much less.
Any healers free to babysit me while I burn myself? Thats all I have left.
