I know this is just an alt doing LFR, but I was just curious when between now and the heat death of the universe can I be expected to see this stupid axe drop and not be cucked by these embers that I’m certain do nothing?

15% chance on your 40th weekly LFR Fyrakk kill according to Wowhead datamining awhile back. So buckle up for long term boredom unless you get lucky!
I misread that article as guaranteed at 40 kills. Gross farming. :grimace
16 LFR kills! You have an incredible perseverance.
Asssuming all your kills are unique you have about an 8% chance for the axe to drop. By your 40th kill this will have increased to 17% chance.
The graph does not go to when 100% is but eventually you’ll get it.
I somewhat feel your pain. 9th (unique) Heroic kill at the moment. I’ll use Ashkandur’s instead if the whole WoWhead rates thing ends up being wrong.

Getting it in LFR is basically winning the lottery, aka not realisticly gonna happen unless the universe smiles upon you. LFR will be gone before you even have a viable % chance of getting it to drop with BLP.

I’ve been clearing AotC since week 5 or so, just got mine last night. lol
I think you’re better off doing something more fun with your time, then coming back next expansion to clear it on heroic.

Yep. This was how I got mine last week, but I am fully aware of just how lucky I was. What I said out loud when I saw this drop into my bags on my pally probably couldn’t be repeated here on the forums. 
I was gobsmacked.

The 16 LFR kills they’re referring to are OP’s kills.
Assuming TWW pre-patch goes live in mid august, you have almost exactly 90% chance of getting the axe by that date.
Basically unless you do Heroic or Mythic every week, no shiny for you. Your money means nothing to Blizzard.

I have the worse luck, on avg to get a mount I have to farm hundreds to thousands of times.

No I’m saying OP has 16 LFR kills. It must take a lot of dedication of weekly doing it to reach that.
I’m aware of what the BLP for heroic but they aren’t doing that.

Most honest answer I can give is 
My Paladin got it 3 weeks ago, my DK is still crying.
Both have not stepped foot in anything beyond LFR. Both have killed LFR Fyrakk weekly since the final wings release.
Edit: After reading more of the replies here… Seems my Paladin won the lottery.
You shouldn’t bring lofty claims like that to the table without receipts.
