Just thought i would throw this out there, obviously im a 49 fan. But last night at one point we had 8 different BG’s happening. I cant speak to horde queue times, but alliance queue times are never more than 2minutes during primetime.
So far the games seem to be 50/50 win loss rate , and ive been in several back and fourth WSG’s where the wins felt earned. Believe it or not , alliance even seems to be winning some Ab’s , with a pretty amazing 1900-2000 game last night .
39’s are also pretty active as well, though i feel as Alliance i lose a lot more games in that bracket. Anyways, just figured i would update those who may be curious on what the status of the mid twink brackets are like.

That’s pretty cool actually. I’ve only ever done 19 and 29 and not very seriously.
Yea ive done the 19 thing a few times and i do have a 29 twink also, but i just never play them. Once you get into 39’s and above the game just opens up drastically to different play styles . Obviously at 40 you get a mount which again absolutely changes the dynamic outcome of games. With the insane amounts of people spamming Scarlet Monastary in the 30’s and then ZF in the low 40’s to 50. The leveling is a total breeze. I actually found the only levels that dragged for me were 40-43. Once you hit 44 though spamming ZF can basically finish off the xp in short order.
29 is great, but I feel like 19 is a dumpster fire. The people there are not just fun to play with or against, and then the other restrictions like WSG only makes it pretty awful imo.
I might try a 49 shaman, get my fix for enhance.

Tinydots here! 49 best bracket! Ally seems to have more premaders but horde seems to have a higher amount of twinks spread across all different servers.
All things said and done lots of great games to be had!

What are the pros and cons of each twink bracket? I’ve been considering joining one. Are you still able to rank?
Hmm I guess it depends on the class you want to play. I tend to stray away from 19/29 as they both feel absolutely dominated by rogue/hunter/priest.
The 39 and 49 bracket have a much larger class diversity where you can really shine on just about anything!
Ranks have a cap based on level, I’m not sure of all of them but 49s are capped at rank 9.

I wish more people played 39. The queues get pretty long except a couple hours during the day.
I have two 39s, the queues are only long for horde believe me.49 is a bit better balance wise but 7v10 wsgs still common in off-peak hours.
I wanted to join a 49 horde community on Benediction but its locked : /

I found 29 to be the most balanced and fun. 39 alliance just doesn’t have enough healers while every horde team has 5 min between all the shamans and druids. Also a lot of try hard fap and speed pot use in the 39s by horde. I’m not trying to spend 5g+ every round.

I prefer the 39 bracket to the 29 (because 300/300 tradeskills), but the 39 bracket is like “SO CLOSE TO A MOUNT AND RUNNING EVERYWHERE IS SO SLOW”. I’m a few weeks shy of having my (12) Level 29s. Only planning on moving (4) of those to Level 60. I’d like to have them all at Level 49 – but that would easily take me another year.
Yep, 40’s is a great bracket to play in.
Yea the 49 bracket has been a lot more active once again. Can’t wait to be done pvping on my main so i can do more 49. Working on a mage and ill do a lock after. Love the 49 bracket.
Good to hear. I have a 35 warrior I plan to play with in the 40s bracket soon.
May wife an I hung out at 49 bracket for about a month just enjoying WSG (since that was the only thing out for 49 at the time). The benefit of 49 bracket over just about any other is that all classes have pretty much all of their abilities but you don’t have the massive gear disparity of someone in all quest/BoE greens going against someone in full BWL gear. The gear disparity is smaller and you don’t have one or two classes dominating like hunters in 19 bracket.

If your are a solo que hero complaining about being farmed by premades, it sounds like this atmosphere is where you should be.
39 is straight garbage for alliance. So less and less alliance are queuing. People like me just move on to other brackets (49 personally).

Because horde have 8/10 twinks almost every game in wsg. Whereas alliance is lucky to have 3 twinks IF we even have a full 10 man wsg to begin with. Most games are horde premades just farming the gy.
