Sure, theres thunderclap. that literally does 1/20th of the damage of one seed of corruption, i wouldnt even call thunder clap aoe as you need to switch stances to even using it making it so you loose all your rage and ends up being a dps loss. Its more of a tanking ability, arms warrior if anything.
If fury has 0 AOE, atleast buff its damn single target by removing the 10% titans grip penalty. I think its fair to have good single target considering we have 0 AOE abilitys unlike every other dps class, even healing priests have holy nova which does more aoe damage compared to a fury warrior
Fury warrior is the only class with 0 AOE… 4 targets maximum. Buff its single target, RemoveTitansGripPENALTY.
You should rename it to… Buff Fury Warriors single target, remove Titan’s Grip penalty.
You also say that Fury has no AoE then say that it has AoE, even if it doesn’t do as much damage as you’d like it to the fact that it’s AoE still stands.
Quit complaining if you dont like the warrior roll a different toon. If you know how to play your class you can hit high dps. Fury Warriors have other things that are useful anyways. You have sunder incase there is no rogue or war tank,battleshout,pummel which works well on general and ic
Nah, that’s not how wotlk works. Rets opened the gates. Feral just got buffed to the 5th best dps spec in the game overnight, despite doing about even dmg with fury. If blizzard is going to start buffing classes and specs based on whinging, then guess is Fury’s are going to have to whinge and hopefully we’ll get the same treatment ret and feral received.
What about making whirlwind a one sec global if spec’d into it. Prolly can get 2 -3 consecutive WW before having to build rage.
That would be an acceptable buff. Or a chance to proc a WW off a crit.
Warriors have always done godly damage in 3-4 target situations. Did you for some reason expect, as a warrior, to be pulling starfall or seed numbers on a 10 pack?
Feral’s change wasn’t for the purpose of buffing them. They wanted to discourage bearweaving because it has a negative effect on raid comps. If anything, it was the whining of tanks and raid leaders (not ferals) that led to this change, but really it came down to “it wouldn’t have been allowed to exist in original Wrath”.
The DPS buff wasn’t the point and ended up being way more than they expected it to be.
Expect feral dps to receive some kind of nerf in the future after they test options on the PTR.
Top fury warriors already pump hard. Most people need to focus on improving their play.
If I were a fury warrior, I’d be fighting to have sunder armor become part of a talent so it auto-applies. This would massively increase their utility, improve their dps, and improve a raid’s total dps when they were in the group. Combat rogues would love a change like this and would be cheering fury on.
Changes like that would make the game more fun for everyone because you wouldn’t have to sacrifice your own performance to help the raid.
Good question; think my highest Warrior in Classic so far maybe made it to 26 and I was thinking “wait, isn’t Whirlwind a thing?” when I read the OP.
Edit: thinking about it, (not saying this should change, tbh) Ret Paladin is in the same boat; Divine Storm only hits up to 4 enemies and Seal of Command only adds two more targets.
Kind of like the slam proc with HS but with cleave and whirlwind or just having ww cost 75 rage ,no cd like (can’t believe I’m gonna say this) cataclysm
Bro I’m not even that geared and I do amazing dps compared to how I feel I should do. I haven’t touched uld too much but my guilds fury does just fine and when toc comes out we will really start to shine hard. We need no air our cleave is top tier and that’s all we really need
are you living under a rock that buff was reverted. The fact of the matter is, the fury warriors complaining are in fact terrible warriors to begin with so they need some sort of buff to compensate for how bad they are.
