Fury Warrior FTW

Phase 1 and Top 500 DPS in Akumai are roughly comprised of 80-90% Fury Warriors.
We won Classic last time and we will win Classic this time too.

Get on our level.

Rogues? Cry your heart out.
Paladins? Can’t even. Don’t need em.
Melee Hunter? Never heard of it.

Yo Dawg I heard you need a World Buff so I put a World Buff on your World Buff so you can Parse while you Parse!

You heard it here first folks, lvl 10 warriors rule the world!

Actually, those Warriors are Arms. That’s the tree that has Deep Wounds.

Putting your points in fury is a terrible idea right now. The early talents suck.

Let’s be honest, this was never going to be good anyway.

Warriors are only on top at the highest percentile. Imagine that, the class that scales best with gear is on top when in full BiS…

Also you’re the reason no one sympathizes with us during our weak points

Not that it never was going to be, but they just didn’t get it right currently. 4 More Phases to go.

I mean, you need 5 points in fury for the big crit boost. That’s an enormous damage boost. That doesn’t leave enough for the the arms crit talent and only 1/3 deep wounds, which is trash.

We shall have to see, but if I ever see a Melee Hunter topping DPS meters by the end of SoD I will eat my shorts.

Might as well just tattoo I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW DEEP WOUNDS WORKS IN SOD on your forehead if that’s your comment

deep wounds stacks damage per application atm on top of refreshing duration, you want 3/3 deep wounds more than 5/5 cruelty

I think in order for it to have melee it should have significant adjustments to some of their current runes as well as potentially similar to other runes.

For example, a rune like lone wolf except it give them stat boosts based on the pet they have (which gets dismissed) and added to the Hunter. Each pet adds a nuanced element to it, like atk speed if its a cat, poison damage if its a spider, or slower heavier attacks if it is a bear.

They can do it, just need some imagination.

I’d also wager it’d have to be as drastic as how Warlocks abilities changed when they use their tank rune and change some hunter range attacks to be up close attacks.

Are you suggesting that people are using blood frenzy for serious DPS?

The default warriors spec is raging blow, consumed by rage, and quick strike. You don’t waste a point in deep wounds; that is better spent on improved overpower.

We’re doomed.

same build as fury but with deep wounds 3/3 instead, that’s what he’s implying

even for dual wield, and in fact, dual wield gets real good benefits from it because of fast OH crits refreshing duration while you wait for your big MH crits to apply more bleed

I just don’t understand the thinking behind emphasizing bleed damage in the first place. People traditionally take deep wounds because it’s a prerequisite for impale, which confers a significant boost to crit damage. Deep wounds, even at 3/3, is a laughably trivial amount of damage. True, it gives you more rage if you’re using blood frenzy, but that requires you to sacrifice raging blow, which is a crippling damage loss.

You’re not wrong!

:woman_shrugging:

At the time of this post, the top 25 parses consist of 2 Hunters, 4 Rogues, and 19 Warriors.

it is, in vanilla

in wrath it started acting like combustion, where as a fight goes on longer it keeps adding more damage

it’s a ton of damage right now, averaging #2 on many higher parsing warriors because of it’s bugged interaction as of SoD

A bug??? FML, I had no idea. ROFL.
