Yes, we do need a new thread every day. In fact, I’m going to start a movement: “One Fury Thread Per Hour” until our voices are heard. Fury Warriors across Azeroth, unite! Blizzard might think they’ve got us figured out, but clearly they can’t see beyond the first 15 seconds of a boss fight. “Oh look, Fury’s pulling big damage in Normal raids—quick, nerf them! Twice! Heck, let’s throw in a third one for fun!” It’s like they think all bosses are going to keel over before we’ve had a chance to ramp up.
But sure, why wait for actual Mythic raids or high keys to gather data, when we can just make wild balance decisions based on logs from Uncle Larry’s weekend pug in Heroic? Let’s completely ignore how Fury thrives in long fights and just slap some nerfs on there like it’s a game of whack-a-mole. And now I’m back in Arms jail, pacing around like it’s the Shawshank Redemption, chiseling away at the wall, dreaming of the day Fury will be free again.
But let’s get real. You know what? We need to talk about the real problem in WoW. It’s not Fury nerfs. It’s the glaring absence of Tuskarr as a playable race. I mean, seriously, why are we still debating Fury vs. Arms when we could be debating why we can’t play as beefy walrus people who live their best lives fishing and eating soup? Tuskarr are a symbol of what this game needs: coziness, community, and giant, glorious tusks.
Think about it—what other race spends half their day fishing and the other half building igloos? That’s the kind of peaceful energy Azeroth is missing. Imagine rolling into a battleground as a Tuskarr Warrior, waving a harpoon around, slapping rogues out of stealth with a smoked fish. Or a Tuskarr Mage, summoning tidal waves of seafood to pelt your enemies. Blizzard says they’re all about class fantasy, but where’s my Tuskarr Warrior fantasy? I want to heroic leap into battle and land on a sled pulled by penguins.
And the fashion options? Don’t even get me started. Every armor set would look better with a pair of tusks and a layer of blubber. Forget about transmog problems—everything would look amazing. And you just know Blizzard would give us cool fish-themed mounts or maybe a narwhal battle companion that smashes people with its horn.
Honestly, if Tuskarr were a playable race, none of us would care about these nerfs. Fury could be doing negative DPS and we’d all still be happy, rolling around as Tuskarr, eating fresh seafood and living our best lives. But until that day comes, we’ll just keep making Fury threads, because until I can stomp into a raid as a walrus warrior, I’m going to make my voice heard.
So yeah, we absolutely need more threads. And Tuskarr.
