That’s correct, you want at least 6% hit with swords on a human to never miss with your abilities.

Dual Wield gives an additional miss penalty to your white attacks, so extra hit increases your damage and rage generation a bit. It’s not as good as critical hit chance until that is capped (which is a complicated subject) but some items are statted such that you really want them anyway and you’ll naturally end up over the soft hit cap which is fine. There’s a lot of good hit gear for fury warriors.

If you were using a 2h sword instead, anything over 6% would be completely wasted.
