Both hunter and rogue tier are pretty good for pvp.
to pawn you pugs plain and simple.i stopped playing classic wow 3 months ago the pvp is just bad and not worth it.
Barely anyone actually plays the game for fun anymore.
It’s probably like 1 out of 10.
Lots of changes happening regardless of #nochanges so… by chance they were add Transmog
Ppl want to obtain titles in expansion?
The percentage of raiders in full t3/t4 in vanilla was maybe one or two guilds a server. It is likely both raids will be cleared day one by many guilds. We are in uncharted territory, because the average gear score for players is well beyond players at the same stages in vanilla. It will be funny, if around Naxx time frame alliance pve players are wiping the floor with horde pvp players, due to gearscore alone. The irony will be hilarious…“Roll pve noob.”
Do you know what the word “fun” means? Not everything a player does requires a reward. Btw, rank titles will be unobtainable after classic. I got R10 for this reason.
Pretty sure the faction losing 99% is the one being crushed, not the one winning 99%. You guys can’t even get our captain.
Horde already lost by sitting in queue for 3 hours.
It’s 2 hours, but you’re right, and that’s why they want to maximize the matches they get.
That’s funny. Our complaint is often that the alliance are holding on to SHGY so hard that we can’t move past them. We think they do this because of the rep exploit (has it been fixed yet?). Our challenge is to dislodge the alliance so we can move up.
I look for and kill AFKers. I figure it’s up to alliance to report their own AFKers but killing them is a matter of principle (and honor). I leave fishing alliance alone.
So afking is bad but fishing which basically contributing nothing to the team while leeching rep/honor is fine.
A lot of times, I see them down there fishing after I’ve already stopped them several times from trying to go south and take our towers. So they’re tired of fighting, which is fine.
But it really is up to you alliance to report your AFKers. AFKers are a problem on both sides, and they are becoming more sophisticated about the way they AFK. I report them both for AFK and for cheating (both options available when you right click their names).
Because its fun, some of us PVP because we like it, not because its a path to gear.
It takes 30 minutes because they wait for 30 minutes to win so they can farm as much honor as possible.
So if BGs were solely for pvp gear and when you have pvp gear you won’t go to BGs?
Like spending time playing sport to earn money for sport gear and when you have all the gear, you stop playing the sport!
According to mage BIS list, Rank 10 shoulders + boots are BIS for p5.
R10 Helm and Shoulder for rogues that play daggers.
I’m honestly more mind boggled by people who go into battlegrounds and PvP without the gear. I tried PvPing right after I hit 60, and I got absolutely destroyed. I have way more fun now that I have gear and can win. I don’t like PvP games as much as dueling though. I’m excited for TBC for arenas. I never was great at it, but it’s really fun having small 2v2 fights.
My favorite thing to do in AV is catch people by themselves in the open and then have a really good fight. Doesn’t happen too often though as someone always seems to stroll in and help.
To make people like you miserable of course.
There’s no such thing as “resilience” in vanilla/classic WoW. So there’s little damage migitation aside from armor and resistances.
Not that anyone wears resistance gear in PVP anyways. You can wear as much gear as you can obtain. There’s nothing that says “oh, you have tier 3 gear? Sorry, no queue spot for you”.
Myself? I don’t have tier 2 gear. I have tier 2 equivalent gear. Stuff like Bloodvine is BIS until Naxx for me.
It’s actually a blast lol
