Frustration with VElves and Nightborne

I don’t think that was ever the case. They were just influenced by the Well of Eternity, like most life on Azeroth.

Trolls were never really said in the lore to be titan-made; the only change (or perhaps clarification) was whether they predated the arrival of the titans or not.

Though to be fair, it’s possible that primordial trolls and early tauren- or as it turns out, yaungol - might have misconstrued the emergence of the Keepers to explore and shape post-Old God Azeroth as the actual arrival of the titans, since they’d have not existed yet during the actual war to overthrow the Old Gods and Elemental Lords, so the sudden appearance of Ra, Freya, etc. into the outside world after they finished securing the Old Gods’ prisons could have seemed to the burgeoning new races as if these gigantic, powerful entities who went about reshaping the continent and further empowering the growth of life had only just arrived on Azeroth. Given the way the flesh-cursed mogu and vrykul of Northrend came to call their Keepers gods, it’s not hard to imagine the first primitive mortal races perhaps inaccurately thinking the Keepers were the actual titans.

There was always a part of high elves that were die hard fanatics tho. We saw it in dalaran and even in the blood elf starter zone were you mind control alliance supporters

I think a big problem is the view that it was a mistake on Tyrande’s part that the NB joined the Horde. I think Tyrande came to the conclusion that the NB were not worthy allies. She has history with them, and it does not paint the NB in a favorable light for her so she had no reason to expend effort on pursuing a people she did not find trustworthy. I mean the line about Elune’s wisdom sounds like a diplomatic way of saying “We didn’t come here to help you, we came here to do a job, and once that’s done we’re gone, maybe Elune will help you after that.” So not so much that Tyrande did something that made the NB shun the Alliance, but that when the NB tried to reach out to her she didn’t waste her time with them. And while I think that showed up a bit in game, it might getting boring to show in detail repeated ignored messages or diplomats turned back after a cursory meeting.

The thing is that Tyrande’s attitude is the only solid reason we have for NBs going Horde, so a lot of people latch on it as the major bone of contention.

And it wouldn’t have to be in game. Could have had it in BtS if they weren’t to busy telling us how eeeeeevvvil The Lich Queen is and wonderful Andy is.

Also, on the subject of the NB absolutely must be a part of the NE because they look the same and are related…well my own sister hates my guts. Just because people might be related doesn’t mean they have to agree or like each other, especially when there is a gap in beliefs. Especially when there are other relatives who are more like you around

Oh plz take ur ego elsewhere .

If we look at this as a question of the Nightborne choosing between the Night Elves and Blood Elves, then they chose the side that they have most in common with.

The Nightborne and Blood Elves were the same people - Highborn Night Elves, and have more or left kept that culture intact, with the focus on urban living powered by an intense embrace of the arcane. Our current Night Elves were essentially their peasants, and lived very different lifestyles.

I mean, this is made pretty obvious in game when you compare how they live, talk, and behave. The Blood Elves and Nightborne are immediately copacetic. The Nightborne and Night Elves are immediately bristly towards each other.

It’s not the same thing as the Druidism the Night Elves practise… it’s far more personal.

Is that where these are coming from?

(Also, I’ve been posting for more than six years now. I seem to have amazing wallflower powers.)

People will complain and discuss whatever they want. Besides, these are the WoW forums, complaining is one of the key foundations of this place.

The Druidism Night Elves practice are very personal. So much so that they have to meet with the Wild Gods before they can take the associated animal form.

As an Alliance player, I was (and still am) hyped for Void Elves more than for Nightborne, though I did unlock all the races.

Not you again.

At this point your more of a Troll who has a hate crusade for people for not liking Void Elves or Night Elves on the Alliance.

The Alliance has wanted high elves for as long as WoW started, the void elves fill a certain part of that void(even if I would have preferred the high elves and still expect we will get them someday Alliance side). As far as I’m concerned I would rather have had void elves then nightborne any day of the week.

It’s indecent.

Well this guy first made a comment how human paladins are superior .in next thread he rant that why lightforged draenei and void elf genocide should take place .in the next one he said he was making a blood elf paladin . He faction changed .only to come back to his human paladin again and now he keeps his profile hidden because he is ashamed of his past post history.

You can’t hide your profile.
